On May 20th, 1982, a golden man was seen flying in the air over the Atlantic Ocean. He was approached by a passing cruise liner, cured a dying woman of cancer, then left. In time, the world will call him Scion.
On June 21st, 1982, someone stands atop a New York City apartment building in a makeshift costume, puts on a mask, and becomes the world’s first cape.
(Or: a story of “heroes”, entangling mysteries, the beginning of the end, lonely people finding each other, and a warrior standing in the epicenter of the growing storm.)

Observe as he meanders around in Brockton Bay city, doing silly little things like going to the park and feeding the ducks, or being subconsciously suicidal and suppressing memories of his ex-something as the 24 fragmented pieces of his brain try desperately to fix him. Or make him even worse in the process...
