It was not a purr. It was not even loud. It was simply soft, a word dressed without its usual armor, offered like tea in cupped hands.
Yuanzhi looked up, tilted his head, wide-eyed with a calculation so naked it became endearing by accident. “Please?”
Ziyu’s mind misfired.
Yuanzhi figures out he’s wanted and immediately weaponizes it: robe theft, throne theft, and “gege” privileges on cooldown.

Minoru doesn't say anything for a stretch of time but when he does, his voice is strained and his eyes are everywhere and nowhere: "So, an alpha, then?"

4.5/5 Very well written and satisfying, though I probably won't re-read it like some of the author's other works, hence the 4.5/5. Nothing is wrong with it, just more domesticity and focus on pregnancy in the last third than my attention span can enjoy more than once.
