The Apollo cabin speaks horrible Americanized Italian because it’s the language of music (like how Piper can speak French, the language of love). The Apollo cabin uses this to gossip, not realizing that anyone can understand them (Nico doesn’t get why they don’t think he can understand them. His fucking name is Italian. He was born in Venice. And truthfully, their Italian is fucking awful). The Apollo cabin takes to teasing Will about his crush in front of Nico. Who can understand them. Because Italian is his native fucking language.

Before the war, Camp was a happy place. Despite all the danger they faced on a daily basis, at least they were together. Many of them had come from bad families, or were forced to leave their homes due to the monsters dogging their every step. But at camp they had built a new life for themselves, they were a family against all the odds. And no matter what threat faced camp, they were all willing to fight tooth and nail to keep their home, and their family, safe.

Will can't stop the tears that, once again, begin to stream from his eyes as he drags Nico into the Hades Cabin and slams the door. He can hear the crowd of campers outside the door, but can't bring himself to listen.

His back hits the cold door, rough as he slides down to the floor. He discards the offending box to the floor, but he can still see it in his periphery. Fuck. He pushes fists into his streaming eyes and takes a few deep breaths before he can find it in himself to speak.
"Does this mean you want to break up?" Even in the flickering lamplight of the Hades cabin, Will can see as Nico's eyes widen and his face grows pale.
Or...
Five times Will knew he was in a relationship with Nico and one time he realized he wasn't.

That night, as Tohru slept beside him, Kyo prayed. What ifs might be enough to soothe Tohru’s grief, but guilt still prickled at him after all these years. He didn’t know who he prayed to, only that he prayed. "Please. If there’s any magic or justice in the world, let me try again. For me, and for every Cat before me whose life was stolen by the curse. For Kyoko. For Tohru, who saved us all."

Featuring: a reluctant spy, an unlikely friendship between a ghost and a lonely student, a portrait, very few friends, several very lengthy conversations about soul magic, and far too many Horcruxes.
(Or, an attempt to answer the question, if someone intelligent was sent back through time, armed only with the word 'Horcrux' and a general knowledge of the main timeline––not to mention a keen understanding of the Hogwarts curriculum––could that person logic his way to defeating the Dark Lord? Only time will tell).
