IMPORTANT:
- The story pace is slow, very slow (1/4th of HP books pace, max.). If you don't like that, that's fine, but this text is not for you.
- The story is still UNFINISHED (1/5th written, max.).
- Canon characters are limited to Flamel and Ekrizdis, neither of whom has appeared yet in the published chapters. The setting is still Hogwarts, the lore is respected, but the 14th century means almost all characters needed to be original.
- A lot of effort has been placed in researching period accurate details to accompany the story, for those who like me like these sort of things. For example, the Chapel of St Thomas was a real church located in the middle of old London Bridge, so was the Crossed Keys ale house, people measured time differently back then, etc. There are many more small details like those. -

First, Bilbo actually got his name right. Very little people cared to learn Thorin’s name those days, so most of his packages were sent as “to the blacksmith in the woods”. He used to have a name, a title and a kingdom. And then, after the dragon fire, all was left were ashes, a hunted kingless kingdom and the bitter taste of defeat.
