Summary
“You misunderstand me,” he interrupted, chuckling, gray eyes gleaming. “Brown and him? Makes sense. You and Weasley?” He tisked with a theatrical frown. “What a waste.”
“Because I’m a mudblood?” she seethed, coming to a halt.
He stopped too and spoke his next words in a very careful way. “Because you’re Hermione Granger. Head of the class. While he’s Ronald Weasley, head of the Harry Potter fan club.”

Summary
Five years after the war, Hermione Granger has very little time for something like a relationship. She's far too busy trying to run the Bureau for Endangered Creatures efficiently, dealing with budget cuts and ignorant ministry officials and finding a way to somehow restore her parents' memories, who are still in Australia and none the wiser about the existence of their daughter.
When she discovers that the Wizengamot plans to use Draco Malfoy as a scapegoat whilst dealing with elusive Voldemort loyalists, she offers to testify for him. She's not quite sure how it led to her trying on wedding dresses under the watchful eye of Narcissa Malfoy.

Summary
"All her growth was the conveying of a corpse of hope."
(From 'The Rainbow', D.H. Lawrence)This is a story about coming into one's own, a meditation on the twilight of girlhood and the violence of crash-landing into womanhood. Follow Hermione as she navigates through the quagmire: Saving the world, getting top grades, falling in love, lust, and a whole lot of trouble, and comes out of it hopefully (at least) partially sane.

Summary
***** NOW COMPLETE *****
Ten years after the war, Hermione Granger has built a life on purpose: a brilliant career, more projects than hours in the day, and a future carefully unburdened by expectations. Draco Malfoy has done the opposite—running from his legacy, his family’s obligations, and a marriage contract he REALLY does not want to fulfill.
A chance encounter at a gala at Malfoy Manor binds them together in a way neither of them chose—and neither of them can undo.
An accidental marriage becomes something far more dangerous: a slow unraveling of old wounds, unavoidable desire, and a bond rooted in ancient magic that refuses to be broken easily. As Hermione and Draco search for a way out, they uncover a story buried deep in the Malfoy line—a tragedy of love, betrayal, and sacrifice that may hold the key to their freedom… or doom them to repeat it.
Enemies bound by circumstance. Lovers bound by magic.
And a question neither of them can escape: what if the cost of breaking the bond is more than they can bear?Accidental marriage. Slow emotional burn. Sharp banter, dangerous magic, and a lesson in accepting the love you think you don’t deserve.
