It got a little more intense as the world went on, got wind of his ghost on the streets, and became scared of The Bat . So Bruce got a little more creative with it, Alfred and him had a good laugh over the name, the scare, and Alfred had a vicious streak of humor that he had passed onto his ward-
So now the suit had a visible bat-theme, an insignia to drape in the shadows and to paint across the streets of Gotham.
It only took a year into the whole charade of heroism for Bruce to overhear a conversation between some goons- some low level thug hired by the Riddler this week- about nothing at all pertaining to what the hell the Riddler was doing in the sewers but instead:
“ The Batman can fly, you know, I’ve seen his wings.”

Another set of hands joined him and with the extra support he made it into the valley, spotting lights on in a farmhouse in the distance. A small part of Percy registered that he wasn’t getting rained on anymore even though he could still hear the storm raging in the distance. Instead, his gaze locked with a pair of cool grey eyes framed by pieces of blonde curls. “How did you get here? Who is your godly parent?”
He could hear his mother’s voice echoing in his ears, months and months ago: no one can know, Percy. Even the gods.

Summary
When a player gets invited to a server or specifically when a hybrid gets invited to a server it can be a little unfair to ordinary players since they don’t have any supernatural abilities. Because of these abilities it is allowed for the admins to use a cheat code called ‘unable homeworld capabilities’ on their servers. It basically blocks any ability like fire resistance and water breathing plus it gives the player an option to hide their hybrid traits such as ears, tails, wings, ect.
Hermitcraft is a server that uses this code, it was a decision made by Xisuma before he invited everyone. He mostly did this because he didn’t want to have arguments about whether it would be turned on or off with the hermits.
Grian had chosen to hide his wings since the day he got on Hermitcraft because he didn’t want a repeat of what happened between him and S@m, but also because it was a reminder of THEM. And how THEY ‘repaired’ the damage S@m had inflicted.
So imagine his shock when the server has an election to decide if they want to keep the code or not and everyone wants to turn off the code except for him. Now there are some hermits that want to know who voted ‘no’.

After finally finding a server to hide in he quickly realises that it was, in fact, not abandoned as he had assumed.When Xisuma went to check the new Hermitcraft Server he saw an intruder hack into it - quite literally.
Though it quickly turns out that the intruder was more a fugitive, running away from the very monsters the admin hated with his entire being.Walking a thin line between truth and lie Grian tries his best to cling to the new safe haven to heal up and hide from his captors, making more connections than he had preferred.

Summary
Jimmy was about fifteen minutes into his walk and was about to head back to his apartment when he heard a chittering sound that he couldn’t quite place. It almost sounded like a dolphin, but dolphins didn’t really come out to this bit of the beach. It had to be something else. Cautiously, Jimmy gripped his shoes tighter and crept around the dunes to see…a mer.
They were beautiful, orange scales that faded into black lining their tail, delicate orange fins catching the sunlight. Their hair was drying, golden locks curling around their fins, and their eyes looked red in the light. They were several feet from the water, and there was a net wrapped tightly around their arms and tail, tangling with their fins. They snarled weakly, thrashing as they tried to break loose.
Grian had told Jimmy once that it was bad for mer to be out of the water for long periods of time. This mer must have been up on land for at least an hour. That couldn’t be by choice. They were beached.
Jimmy had to do something.
