Eddie didn’t pause this time. His tone turned sharp.
“They tell you, under no circumstances to confront the intruder.”

Summary
Holding Buck’s chin with his thumb and forefinger, Eddie lifts Buck’s head and leans closer. "Buck, hey, look at me."
Buck winces as he slits his eyes open and reveals his glazed blues, but his lips twist down immediately, his voice croaked. “My head hurts.”
“I know, baby.” Eddie mumbles as soft as he can, but god, does it pain him to see him like this. “I know, but I need to take a look.”
“My head hurts.” Buck lets out another quiet groan, but thankfully doesn’t pull away this time.
