Summary
There’s something up. LaForge can see it in Data’s eyes, in the way they keep darting off into the corners of the room, the minute dilations and contractions as his pupils jerk up and down, flicking through data-sets, collecting information, cutting off the excess, looking anywhere but LaForge’s VISOR. He’s calculating, thinking, dreaming. When he speaks its as if he’s reeling off some pre-recorded script, like the Data of the past, speech rife with repetitions and redundant observations, voice with inflections at the wrong time and emphasis on the wrong syllable. His expression is so blank it feels like LaForge is in the room alone. It’s…disturbing.

Set in a divergent timeline post 'First Contact' where Data takes up a teaching post at Cambridge.Inspired by Robert Shearman's Doctor Who story 'Jubilee'

‘We have all gathered here today, members of the Society Of Synthetic, Sentient, Electric, Electronic, Mechanical Men And Women And Those Of Indeterminate Gender...'
The monthly meeting of the SOSSEEMMAAWAATOIG, for short, has come around once again and you have the lucky privilege of observing. Mr. Martin, yes the Andrew Martin of Bicentennial Man fame, has tried to bring a group of synthetic life-forms together in order to better further their interests, though how well this is going is up for debate.

Summary
Violins are stupidly complicated to play well. That’s probably why Sherlock likes them--well, that and because he can annoy the heck out of Mycroft by playing deliberately badly. Luckily, Sherlock fandom, you do not actually have to learn to play the violin! This guide will help you convince your readers that Sherlock knows how to play the violin without requiring you to endure years of violin teachers shouting at you for tiny details of your technique. ("Stop avoiding the frog! Bow parallel to the bridge!")
