Summary
The Great Sage’s broken shell was gone, rended to dust.
The Young Sage, the Destined One, or simply known as Dajing, was left with the legacy of a martyr. With the legacy of Heaven’s greatest threat.
He, pursued by one he had trusted, fled into a new world. A world where humans reigned, Heaven neglectful rather than gluttonous, and yaoguais lived among humans rather than eating them.
And, unto a new Great Sage—and his apprentice to boot.
TLDR: The Destined One ends up in the LMK universe. Familiarity with either property is recommended.

"But since what happened to you was unprecedented, we're going to be playing it safe and moving you off of homicide, and on to larceny and robberies and partnering you with Officer Miller," Fowler already has his hands up, silencing Gavin's protests. "I would love to put you back on homicide– I need you on homicide, but you need time," Fowler said. Gavin wanted to yell at him. He's been adjusting for a month now. He can look at himself in the mirror and not want to punch it.
"I'm not getting out of this, am I?" Gavin asks rhetorically.

He rounded the corner towards the square right in front of the Temple– it was different than before because there had never been a square in front of the Temple.
Obi-Wan froze in place the moment he looked up. His eyes observed the large statues one by one.
Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto– they were all Councillors during the War.
Obi-Wan stood in front of the statues as tears welled up in his eyes. He hadn’t seen them in a long time and these statues looked exactly like them. From facial features and expression down to the way they were seated– as if they were in a regular Council meeting.
“Look Uncle Ben! It’s–” Obi-Wan leaped to Luke and covered his mouth before he could say anything else.
“Yes, I see, it’s General Kenobi.” He hoped the beings whose attention was drawn towards them would move on quickly. “But try not to shout, Luke, alright?”
His eyes left the boy to observe the statue of himself.
