Continuation / parallel universe to "oh wow a react fic" —i know that fic isn't even finished, but I can't exactly show my other AUs there.
In a moment of curiosity, the various shinobi in the viewing room decide to experiment with the crystal ball. It ends up showing fragments of alternate universes, branching roads that they will never need to walk.

Summary
Shi Hou was hardly like Wukong, and it made MK more than just confused. It felt like he was walking on eggshells just to not make the guy not feel terrible about not being like Wukong.
But they also have similarities—they both like fruit. It just took MK a while to find the right one.
