Summary
In hind sight, Buck really should have agreed with Bobby and told people that he had more issues after the bombing than just his leg. Bobby had seen the medical records, but when he’d looked ready to hold Buck back for a second time, to keep him as the man behind, Buck told him he’d lose his job for refusing work based on his new disability. It would be worse discrimination than just holding him back because of hurt feelings.
The point was, he should have told someone he was disabled. That he required hearing aids to be able to hear.

“Hey.” Buck greets him without looking up from his screen. “How do you feel about opening a joint bank account together?”
Eddie, who was mid-sip of his juice, chokes and almost spits it across the room. “What?”
“Yeah, I’m thinking it’ll just be easier than, like, transferring each other money every month for rent and the shopping,” Buck continues.
“… Right,” Eddie replies, wary. Bank accounts are a big deal—one of the only things his father taught him. Eddie has only shared a bank account with one other person, and he was married to her.
Well, come to think of it, the situations aren’t that different. Sure, he and Buck aren’t married. But they do live together. Plus, Buck is basically another parent to his son in all the ways that matter. Maybe it does make the most sense.
OR: The five times that Buck and Eddie navigate life of acting like a domestic married couple as roommates without actually being married, and the one time they realise they kinda are.

Summary
Eddie suddenly tightens his previously loose grip around Buck’s dick and begins sliding it over the length again, his strokes tight and quick. His brows knit again, his right shoulder curling forward with the movement.
The pleasure knocks Buck off his rhythm, his hand dropping down and grasping at the sheets as his dick kicks against Eddie’s fingers. He’s so hard it hurts, but he doesn’t care, not when—
“Is it your shoulder?” Buck pants raggedly, trying to breathe through the tightness forming just behind his navel. It’s good. It’s so good. But it’s not— it’s not worth Eddie being in pain.
“You’re close,” Eddie says instead of an actual answer. He’s always been prone to deflection. “C’mon, baby.”
OR: Eddie's shoulder flares up. It's none of anyone's business.
