Summary
Kaveh always wondered about that fateful night at Lambad's Tavern. It was where he was found by Alhaitham after all. They had been estranged for years after their massive fight. What cosmic prank brought them back into each other's existence that night?
Years later as roommates and entering an eventual courtship, Kaveh yearned for more as he felt something was missing. But felt he was to blame.
He found himself wondering at times many what-ifs. The biggest one of course being;
What if Kaveh never came home with Alhaitham? How would their lives shape themselves then?
Fate has a strange way of showing they listen, don't they?

Summary
Alhaitham, whether the other knows it or not, is very aware of Kaveh’s issues.
He is a burning candle, a crumbling building, a cattle with perfected lines drawn into his body. He is a perfectionist, a people pleaser, a person unable to let the world see him as anything less than what he has shown. Kaveh steps into the world as perfect and prim, just like the architect that everyone thinks that he is.

Summary
After winning the Interdarshan-championship without any major events, Kaveh decides to use his prize money to move out. Alhaitham then has to come to terms with the fact that he doesn‘t enjoy Kavehs absence as much as he thought he would.

Summary
Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.

Summary
Kaveh is so, so beautiful. It’s a thought that rolls around his head like a marble, constantly circling the drain of his spine. He feels it as deeply as a wound. Alhaitham wants to sweep that soft hair out of his eyes, kiss a trail from his hip to his ankle, trace over the bridge of his nose. He wants to stay when they’re done, he wants to wake up and pull Kaveh to his chest, he wants, wants, wants.
It’s some sick kind of torture, being so greedy for something within reach, unable to keep it. To watch Kaveh’s eyelids flutter with a soft touch, just before steeling again. To watch him want something Alhaitham is desperate to give, and be refused every time.
Kaveh's life is on a downward spiral. In an attempt to drag himself out of this pit of romantic stress and creative flatline, Kaveh takes a commission to restore a dilapidated settlement in the desert. Just a little time to think, that's all.
