As it turns out, it's very easy to misjudge a person's entire behaviour if you don't properly look. If you let yourself be fooled by the walls they build around themselves to feel less vulnerable, less scared.
Yes, it's easy to look at Lance and Keith, different as they are, with the constant glares and fights and screams of “He started it!” and think that they hate each other. But that's just a common misconception. The truth, as it often is in life, is much more complex, but also more beautiful in its absurdity.

The paladins are urgently called to the planet Oxyvera, whose inhabitants ask for their assisance in curing a galactic disease that will soon infect the entire solar system. The oxyverans know how to cure the disease, but need something only the Red Paladin of Voltron can give them.

Summary
After the war, Keith begins to pivot the Blade of Marmora's goals as a humanitarian organisation, alongside fighting against Galra rebel groups. After a particularly gruelling mission, Keith gets a nasty injury that his body isn't used to after years without Voltron. Unbeknownst to him, a certain former Red Paladin is currently at the Blade base after months with no contact and a question on his mind. But first, Keith needs to stop bleeding.

Keith blinked once, twice. Furrowing his brows, he wondered if he had passed out on the way to his room and was having some sort of blood loss induced dream.

Keith found himself staring into endless depths of blue, admiring the way Lance’s skin had darkened from the last time he’d seen him. Which, admittedly, was over six months ago now.
