Summary
The icy heart of winter hangs frozen inside of the air, glistening snow making the barren trees and crunching earth feel frozen in time as Yudai’s chest throbs. His fingertips have become pale and numb with cold. His lungs are stuck somewhere between halting entirely and bursting out from his ribcage. It feels like his own heart is punctured, the blood oozing out inside as his head remembers everything.
Yudai sits in the snow lonely, seeing every image play over and over like a broken record. He can hear a voice whispering venom inside his head. One that tells him ‘He’s not good enough’. ‘They deserve better.’ ‘Everyone around him dies.’ ‘He’s a monster.’ ‘They would be better off if Yudai left now, before anyone else gets hurt.’
After listening for long enough, it’s hard for Yudai not to believe it.or
K has spent a long time telling everyone he's fine; he doesn't have any hurt feelings to share anymore. He's okay. Even when he's not.

Summary
With gasping struggling breath, uncontrollable screams of agony still slipping past his lips, Nicholas curls together and looks down towards his leg. Nicholas can’t remember changing back, but he’s not in wolf form anymore. Maybe it just happened on instinct? Like… holding his wolf form under the pressure of such intense pain was too much for his body to bear.
That’s not good. Nicholas knows that. Somehow even more frightening than that, is the deep red pool of rapidly chilling blood that Nicholas sees collecting around his legs. Nicholas hands reach out towards it, his fingers uncontrollably trembling.
There’s a shiny silver arrow sticking out from the back of his ankle.Yudai pushes the tears away with impressive emotional control, trying to ignore the way quivers travel throughout Nicholas’s body as he analyzes the wound. He won’t allow himself to waver in person. There will be ample time for that later, after Nicholas is safe. Right now, he needs them.

Summary
At first, Yudai doesn’t feel anything. He feels blank, and a hopeful part of his heart still thinks that he will suddenly open his eyes and see the morning light start to twinkle in. Then the darkness sits. It waits and expands, becoming deeper and deeper, until Yudai starts to see the image of himself inside of it. At the start, maybe a few weeks ago, it was a picturesque view of himself resting on a bed that he’s never seen before. He was sitting there, analyzing the oozing walls. Almost like he expected something to happen; and then it feels like time stops for a just moment, before winding strings of sticky darkness ooze from the walls and reach for him. Yudai was always told he’s fast, but his reaction didn’t matter. There was no escaping the inevitable. The darkness felt a stretching, binding, all-consuming force that started with his ankles, toes, and fingertips.

His pace was initially hasty and pressured, until a picturesque scene displayed itself in front of Soobin. A sight that stifled his very bones where he stood. His tight grip around the clear umbrella loosened and its new position caused even more droplets to pelt against his shoulder. The oxygen halted inside of his lungs so quickly that it hurt. His stomach was churning. The unrelenting storm continued pouring down on every corner of the dim alleyway, but near the back it was settling itself on top of the thin body of a dancer. -

It would’ve been preferable if Felix didn’t have a reason at all; if he had just decided to stop loving them sometime between this morning and noon. At least then, he might still be safe. Except they do, which is extra wrong when things go as bad as they often do for these Soobin and Yeonjun. This time especially.

Summary
Tension hangs so thick through the den that the air feels stiff, the entire pack able to feel the suffocating conflict of emotions that still hover throughout the room. It’s been an hour and a ½ since Beomgyu and Taehyun were forcibly separated from their latest screaming match, a conversation that began with the same interactions the mates typically go through in the mornings. In order to escape the still-stifling upset pheromones Yeonjun takes Beomgyu out of the den for a while, but when 2 strangers show up and things start to go very wrong there may not be an easy way for the two omegas to get out of this by themselves.
