“You should have known.”
“Oh, I’m sorry. My latent psychic abilities haven’t kicked in yet,” Dick said. Then, as if the possibility was just occurring to him: “You told someone you were coming, right?”
Tim made a noise, vague enough for Dick to interpret however he wanted.
“Hey,” the next tug on the blanket was sharper, as was Dick’s voice. When he got the blanket down enough to see Tim’s face, he raised an eyebrow, repeating, “You told someone you were coming, right?”
Or: Tim and Bruce have a fight. Tim does the only logical thing and goes to Dick about it.

There’s a beat of silence where Kalina breathes, smoothing her panic back down. Regardless of what the little Cleric thinks she did, Kalina is alive. She has a form again. She can work with this. Her Goddess is not dead.

OR: Sometime after Baron's Game, Kristen uses a Find Familiar spell scroll. It ends up somewhat better than expected.

Weakly shaking your head, you correct him, "I just woke up." It's a bad lie, but your other option was confirming what he already knew. The heat of his palms haven't left your sides, his fingertips dip beneath the soft fabric. "...Are you going to continue?" you ask him.
A part of you hopes he wouldn't. "Would you like me to?" Your pulse speeds.
Wordlessly, you raise your hips, allowing him to fully slip off your underwear. It's not quite an answer, but it is a response that he takes in stride.
Or, alternatively: Despite his endless patience, Capitano wasn't one to shy away from using physical means to resolve a lovers' spat.
