On the journey back to Camelot Arthur and Merlin grow ever closer and Merlin has the time to share everything that he has gone through with Arthur. Back in Camelot Arthur and Merlin wrestle with whether revealing Merlin's identity as Emrys to the rest of the knights and people will aid in the acceptance of magic again. Meanwhile, just before the battle of Camlann, Lancelot returned from the veil (for real this time) and Gwen is torn between her loyalty to Arthur and her true feelings for Lancelot, while suspecting that in his heart Arthur has always yearned for somebody else.

Summary
When Arthur nearly dies by Lady Helen's dagger, Merlin uses magic to heal him.
