A curt nod, and making sure the brats wouldn’t lose their heads when they realized he wasn’t walking back to the lockers with them. After the majority of students had cleared Shitsei told him they’d be going back to the classroom for privacy. Isn’t that delightful to hear.
They got there, Shitsei sat down, and stared at him until he sat down himself. Then, the teacher finally fuckin spoke, “You aren’t responding well to the sessions with Hound Dog.”
”The fuck am I supposed to do? Bleed myself out on an operating table?” Katsuki scoffed.
”Honestly, I don’t care if you spend the entire time ranting about how much you hate me. Sitting there and talking is what is supposed to happen."
This is a fic about Bakugo going to therapy and getting adopted by Best Jeanist, and he's allowed to still be angry and a negative person btw. -

Shitty fact two was that his partner really didn’t have the rigid sleep schedule that would make them be able to appreciate early mornings with the other.
Shitty fact three, because of course there were more than two, was that they were in different classes.
Shitty fact four was that so many people were vying for both of their attention.

Summary
Preening was the most intimate ritual in avian cultures. Done only by family and partners, it was more than simple hygiene for avians. It was a gesture of trust and love. There were very specific customs about where they were done, what words were spoken to cue the ritual, and who could do it. Traditions varied slightly, but the core concepts remained the same. Among avians, requests to preen and be preened were expected to be semi-frequent, in order to maintain the deep bonds that avians kept with each other.
Or, 5 times Bruce preens his birds and 1 time they preen him.

Despite his casual air, Shouta was laser focused. He took in and processed information in a snap. Usual things, like the visual appearance of the room he was entering, but also things unique to Heroes and things unique to cats. The room had narrow dimensions, cold tile floor, pale blue walls, a bed in one corner and a dresser in the other, and no handle at all on the inside of the door. It smelled of laundry detergent and disinfectant and the faint but unmistakable scent of blood and medicine. There were boxes pushed up against the floorboards, what looked like children’s toys, dolls and stuffed animals and coloring books, all in their original, untouched packaging. There was a little girl kneeling on the bed, fear on her face and pain written in every line of her body.
