It starts, at the very beginning, with a bottle.

In 1718, Stede and Ed get married. It's a spectacularly joyous affair, and to make sure they have the best luck in their married life (according to Frenchie, a luck ceremony is a necessary part of the whole marriage thing), they send a bottle to sea filled with their most important articles, a signed Matelotage certificate, and a whole lot of love.
In 2023, after a rough breakup, Ed finds a unique bottle on the beach. Is this a twisted way for Stede to try and get back with him? Or could it be something more magical?
A story of reincarnation, a story of magic, a story of love.
