Now, the red paladin is doing everything he can to get his book back but what the hell is he supposed to do when he finds out Lance has started reading it? What if he surpasses where Keith left off and spoils the story for him?! Should he come clean and confess he owns the novel or figure out a way to get it back while keeping his secret to the grave?

"Harmless? You said my hair looked like my hairdresser asked for forgiveness instead of money, Lance!" Keith exclaimed, irritation creeping back into his voice.
"I know that!" Lance groaned, running a hand through his hair. "It was just an easy target, you know? Plus, you always reacted so strongly when I made fun of your hair, you talked back, and it went on and on. It’s our thing, you know.” he said shyly, which was so out of character for him that it made Keith smile widely. The things just snapped in the right place in his brain.
Lance McClain admitted that he wants to kiss Keith.
Even better, Lance McClain, his crush for years, admitted that he is in love with Keith.
Overall: After years of teasing for his hair, Keith made an innocent joke about cutting it short. It started something in Lance's brain, and ended in a long-needed conversation.

Pidge actually sighed with so much relief, “OH. You mean fistbump! Right.” She slapped her forehead to remove the very very wrong image her imagination drew for her, “Holy shit, Keith, we need to work on that but yeah sure, I’d be honoured to officiate your physical contact program whatever.”
