Natsuki keeps pulling the trigger on a weapon that leaves not a scratch on the target in front of it, walking backwards with increasing speed as she takes mental tracks of the amount of blood splatter on the end of Shizuru's violet kimono and scarlet weapon from all the First District elites and researchers the brunette vowed to exterminate in Natsuki's name, thinking through strained eyes:

Homura pours her another drink.
“If you are serious, I shall give you the answers, and turn metal into skin once more.”
Sayaka nods, fidgeting as her stomach warps into mermaid scales, struggling even more to ignore the skeleton bones of Akemi that once were covered with pale flesh, and the spider lilies which make both a crown and horns on her head above her enlarged, emancipated neck.
(Or, Sayaka realizes she's going through many moments of time with different appearances and seeing different outcomes. It leads her to someone she doesn't usually work with. Drama. Can somewhat been seen as a sister story to my work "All I Ever Learned From Love".)

She almost wanted to touch her. Not sexually, or maybe it was sexually. Whatever. Would Nicole care if she touched her? They'd already seen each other shirtless and they'd only been real friends for, what, a couple weeks now? So maybe it wouldn't be an issue if she let her hands explore. But then again, Nicole didn't know Emily was super fucking gay when they were vulnerable like that. Was that assault? Holy shit, was Emily a rapist?
She shook the thought from her head and sighed, looking back to the ceiling again, eyes only half-lidded. She licked her lips and recalled the conversations the two had that day, or that night. Whatever, man.
