Summary
Anon is discharged from the Navy in the Pacific Northwest, choosing to avoid going back to Volcaldera at all costs. With a small government severance and no funds to go anywhere else, he’s stuck in a coastal town much smaller than the one where he screwed everything up.
Content to keep to himself and fade away in the small town of Crater Cove, a microraptor at the only diner in town seems obnoxiously opposed to letting him. Maybe this fresh start is the second chance he needs to do things right.
… and the raccoons look kind of weird, but that’s probably nothing, right?
