Summary
Following the syphilis outbreak that has ravaged the Wine and Women Council, a few of its members have decided to go on one last hedonistic rush before they (think they will) inevitably die. As a result of this spree of debauchery, America now finds itself with a nation-wide syphilis outbreak, of which a certain President of the United States is forced to discuss during the 2017 State of the Union Address to start off his second term.
Technically a continuation of "Wine, Women, and Syphilis", set a few months after that story's events. Serves as the grand finale for my entire dark romance satire collection.

Summary
In the islands surrounding Rhode Island, there is a secret society where women are taken and kept as playthings. Unfortunately, said secret society never seems to take into account the biomedical problems behind that arrangement.
(Caution: this story contains brief, but graphic depictions of secondary syphilis victims. If you're easily squeamish, I strongly suggest you don't look the disease up.)

Summary
After finding out that her father secretly sold her to the company town's CEO over a stupidly large gambling debt, Gloria enlists her girlfriend and fellow fashion boutique worker, Esther, to find a way out of the mess without becoming his unwilling wife. Thankfully, patriarchy has a number of outdated concepts that she quickly exploits to ensure a clean getaway... and hopefully something to laugh at before they leave Texas for good.
Heavily inspired by the infamous "sold to the mafia/One Direction" trope. Title is a reference to the manga "My Dress-Up Darling", though that manga has no influence on the plot itself.

Summary
Brandon wishes to have someone look after his sister, Glyndon, while he's off doing some sort of business abroad, and has gathered his four best friends to choose who's up for the job. How he never figured out that Natalie is the perfect woman for this task is something the world will never know.
Heavily inspired by countless "brother's best friend" dark romance novels, though there is no specific dark romance novel that inspired it.

Summary
This is where my 1000-word satirical short stories aimed at dark romance as a genre would be gathered up for ease of reading. This also lets me avoid cluttering up the scrap pack, as there's enough of these shorts to form its own mini-universe of sorts.
Short stories are ordered according to release date. Note that the actual number of published short stories is lower than it looks because some works are companion pieces, which are bundled together with the works they're meant to accompany.

Summary
They're monsters, all of them. I didn't ask for it, but I caught their attention nonetheless.
They're predators wrapped in sophisticated charm - cold-blooded, manipulative, and savage.
The worst part is that no one sees their devil sides. I do, and that costs me everything.
I run, but the thing about monsters?
Is that they always devolve into infighting as they brawl over me.Yeah, most of us are sick and tired of these one billion jealous men tearing everything apart.
Sure, we have utopia from cleaning up the damage they've done all the time, but that didn't solve their tom-turkey egos.
And here I am, just wanting to sit down while basking in the death of wage slavery.
But NOOOOOO, I'm forced to arm up just to get these guys to sit down.
So... here I am, armed to the teeth and fighting for my life on a daily basis.
I don't think anybody minds, though.- unknown, overheard near Clear Water Coffee and Tea, New Haven
Set in a version of the real world, in which various dark romance tropes are warped on a large scale until society falls into chaos.
Inspired by the game Postal 2, with combat choreography influenced by Souls-like RPGs.- Words:
