Summary
Where The Peonies Lay is a simple story about a man who meets a not-so-local character, teaching them the lives of the "normal", and growing to... love, in a sense, this being. Turns out, that significant other had thought the same as time grew, and so did they. Now, how would that end when a past abuser turns up of their front porch?
In a not-so vague manner, Tubbo_ Tuberculosis meets an immortal being, who is betrothed the name, Ranboo M. Beloved. Tubbo teaches Ranboo how to be "human", they end up marrying (platonically), time goes on, past abuser pops, up, yda yada, things go downhill, boom boom bwahagh. Other stuff happens, but that'd just be spoilers, so I won't tell you, at least not yet.
