Jason marched over to where Danny was installing a bench, “You want to tell me why my main strip is turning into a Pier One display?”
Danny taking a break from being the Ghost King, shrugged “You said Crime Alley needed a face-lift. This was just in the vault.”
Jason just stared. He couldn’t tell if the guy was screwing with him or if this was his actual personality. “What’s the angle?”
“No angle,” Danny said, pushing off the truck. “You said the people here deserved better. Benches. Planters. Somewhere to sit without a nail stabbing them in the ass. I’m just… helping.”
Jason’s eyes flicked to the nearest bench. The wood gleamed and the cast-iron armrests curled in a flourish that belonged in a park three tax brackets above Crime Alley. And there, bolted to the backrest, was a tiny brass plaque:
For Red Hood’s Haunt
Jason tapped the plaque with a gloved finger“You know what this looks like, right?”
Danny looked him dead in the eye“It looks like a bench.”
“To you,” Jason said. “To the locals? This reads like a...” He stopped, realizing the words “lover’s dedication” were trying to crawl up his throat. No. Absolutely not. -

Danny takes on a new moniker when he starts up business in Gotham as a human, but this time, he's not the hero. A vigilante to the core, taking risks and shots for the greater good at another's expense.
With his memories holding his left hand and his responsibilities holding his right, Gotham seems like the perfect place to hide.
Until he's got a clock over his head, ticking away to an unknown end.
i.e. Danny steals from the waynes and now have the bats on his tail, too bad for them the only one to have spotted Danny is the Red Hood himself. Maybe the halfa can trust the resident crime lord with his teeny tiny issue with the government. What's a little treason to murder, right?

“Stop me," is all he can say, through grit teeth, his hands fisted in Akira’s shirt.
“Why?” Akira just asks, and his voice is so, so honest.
Goro swallows hard, feels it bob in the pit of his throat. “I could ruin you otherwise.”
Akira just gives him a lopsided smile; Goro thinks it’s awfully unfair that he’s still this adorable, even with blood on his face. Akira jerks his head sideways and his glasses clatter uselessly to the floor. Somehow, he seems more see-through now than ever.
Akira covers Goro’s hands with his own, leaning in close. “Nothing is stopping you,” he whispers, breath hot against Goro’s ear, perfect lips just grazing the shell, “Take what’s yours.”
(Morgana convinces Akechi to spend one last night at Leblanc. In his defense, he likely didn’t expect Akechi to spend it by living out a long-running fantasy he’s had of punching Akira in the face.)
(Which might have actually been a little too effective.)

If he was being honest, he didn’t mind those rumours at all. He didn’t mind the subtle tweets, posted in conspiratorial tones as people tried to figure out who the mysterious, pretty boy next to Akechi Goro was. Was he a friend? A never-before-seen brother? God forbid, a date?
