A story in which the gods run the show. It’s a myct au created by yours truly ! The premise and idea was based around the conduits who are the champions of the gods, and the gods realm itself. Zayne's pheromones, which smelled like fresh mountain air and mint, was not at all bothersome to Caleb, rather it calmed him down — like the pheromones of an Omega, and so, an idea sprung into Caleb’s head — if Zayne turned out to be an Omega there was no way his meimei would be stolen.
She had once mentioned that she wouldn't exactly mind an Omega partner but Zayne could easily be hitched to an Alpha because of their pheromone compatibility, then meimei would like Caleb more again.
It was a full proof plan.

It's a truly weird way in which fate decided to bring them together, having been forced to work together in highschool on a chemistry project, that being the best thing that has ever happened to both of them.
Slowly but surely, they become each other's best friends, each other's home, each other's safe refuge, and nothing was ever too awkward for them. Hugs that lasted a little longer than intended, holding each other on the couch so comfortably, they've never experienced such comfort in a friendship before.
However, there was one small secret Rafayel was keeping away from his best friend:
He is in love with him. But he'd never admit it out loud, because he knew... He knew he couldn't hold a candle against Caleb's one true love, MC.
