Uranus couldn’t help a victorious grin as he fixed his posture, readjusting his hold on the bow. Take that, you bloody asshole, he thought, wishing he could say it to the planet’s face.
The Iris ripped his arrow out of the eye socket it'd shredded through with a hissed, “You’re going to regret that.”
…Actually, maybe he was fine just keeping that a thought. No need to say it to his face.

“There’s 146 of you moons, right? I think that’s the number I remember.” Uranus lifted his head slightly, tilting his rings further out of his field of vision so he could look at all of the moons.
“Actually, there’s 145 here. Titan’s with Earth, remember? I’m sure Saturn’s too busy worrying about him to even think of the rest of us with you.” The moon who had spoken up earlier answered him, her arms still crossed over her chest as she looked up.
Uranus frowned, his brow furrowing just slightly. “Why in the blazes would he do that?”
“Saturn only cares about Titan. It’s obvious. He’s the only whose name he cares to remember, and he’s always looking for Titan no matter what the rest of us moons are doing.” The moon rolled her eyes, and the moons around her nodded in agreement.

“Jupiter! Saturn!” he called out, rewarded with both of them immediately turning to look at him. Jupiter lifted one hand in a wave, wearing a small but very obviously genuine smile, and Saturn looked near to burst from excitement, flushed and sweaty.
He’d obviously already had a drink… or two.

Summary
Saturn gave him a half-smile. “He’s speaking with one of the customers right now. I thought I’d take the chance to… introduce myself. Not in a group setting.” He unhooked his fingers and held out one hand; and Uranus had to force his own hand to move, his mind immediately registering the fact that Saturn’s hand felt as smooth as it looked, warm against his own. “I didn’t get your name earlier.”
Uranus barely restrained a frown, letting his hand drop back to his side. “Uranus,” he said. “And that’s Ur-in-us. Nothing else.”
“Uranus,” Saturn repeated, saying it exactly how he had—and then his smile widened, eyes still locked onto his own. “I like it.”
Or; Uranus is a flower shop worker, and Saturn is the new coworker who isn't exactly who he seems...

Builderman looked at peace as the world faded around him, as he started falling.

Erebus scoffed, releasing his arm; and then he began to stalk forward silently, and Uranus stepped back without realizing it. They matched step for step until the combined gravity of the asteroids around them abruptly dimmed. Uranus stopped as he realized the edge of the Kuiper Belt was looming just behind him.
“They’ll be here soon enough,” Erebus said, stealing his attention back. He was grinning, teeth bared, and as Uranus watched he flicked his tongue against the sharp point of one of his fangs. “We don’t need to wait for them.” He leaned in, voice dropping low. “And besides, I’m sure they’d enjoy finding us already—”

What was Saturn doing here? And if Saturn was here- but then Saturn’s expression dropped, and he completely dipped out of the conversation with the people he’d been talking to, and Erebus wanted to turn and run away, but that would attract too much attention - and then Saturn was in front of him, and Erebus felt like a statue, his mind warring between hundreds of different scenarios.
“Erebus,” Saturn’s voice was silky smooth and confident as ever, a pleasant grin lining his face. “How…surprising to see you here.”

“Do you think I could go back over there now?” Earth cradled his face in his hands, staring off into the distance, his eyes long-adjusted to the darkness beyond. He couldn’t see any hint of Erebus within his field of vision, but he thought he had to be out there somewhere. Out of the corner of his eye, Earth watched Luna lift up his head, his attention turning away from the book in hand. “Is the Sun paying less attention again?”
“Over where?”
“To the Asteroid Belt!” He blew out an exaggerated sigh, eyes sliding closed for a brief moment before they popped open again as he grinned. His thoughts swirled around, centered entirely on… well… “I wanna talk to Erebus again.”
Or; Earth has an argument with Luna and ends up in the Asteroid Belt... and ends up speaking to the exact person he wanted to.

Summary
“Go?” Jupiter echoed, shooting a look towards his moons and then the rest of the planets.
“Go,” the Sun repeated. “We don’t—you’ve done enough, Jupiter!”
His core felt squeezed, liable to collapse into a black hole despite the laws of physics; and Jupiter dipped his head silently, a lump in his throat as he slowly turned around, eyes on the Kuiper Belt in the distance… and beyond, where his new home was to be. He almost wanted to turn around and send one last look towards the others, but at the same time Jupiter knew himself; that would only end in regret for all of them. Better to accept his punishment and leave without making a fuss than any other options.
He deserved this, after all.
Or; Jupiter confesses to the destruction of the protoplanets and X's ejection much earlier...and ends up banished beyond the Kuiper Belt, where someone he thought he'd never see again resides.

He dragged his hands through his hair, pushing wayward strands away from his face.
“I’m…” He turned, meaning to set his eyes on the blurry system in the distance—and then was met with X standing such a short distance behind him that Jupiter could see the tear tracks on his face even in the dim light. “X!”
X gave a tiny huff, almost a laugh. “Actually, I’m X. You’re Jupiter.” His lips ticked upward into a tiny smile before it fell away, replaced by an uncertain frown, and Jupiter was silent for a moment as he registered the look and the smudged tear tracks. What had happened?
