Summary
Linh'le lives in the slums of Gotham, trying her absolute best to take care of her younger sister--all while hiding her status as a (kind of) meta. A meta with unique enough powers to be experimented on and/or trafficked.
Life sucks as a Gothamite, but Linh'le learned to find allies where needed (even with criminals!) and to keep her head down low.
Which doesn't work that well when Red Hood comes crashing down through your window (she thought the empty apartment next door had a dead body! Not an anti-hero's safehouse!!). And definitely not well when the gods' champions come back and Hestia restores her powers, leading to Linh'le taking in a young-kid-turned-Shazam. And not that well when somebody moves in across the hall, and for some reason BURNS when she tries to heal him??
..To put it simply, Linh'le is not paid enough for this shit.

Rumi was just at a party. Don't even ask her how her and Jinu ended up involved. Mira, on the other hand, was just hanging out with her sorta-friend-with-benefits before he introduced her to Ro. And Zoey swears they were just studying. Promise. Either way, they each decide that nobody needs to know when they aren't even certain how permanent their relationships will be.
Spoiler Alert: They all find out.

In a shiromuku next to Madara who looks stupidly handsome in his montsuki with the Uchiha fan on his back surrounded by her Haruno circle of unity.
Hashirama is bawling in a pregnant Mito’s arms, Izuna is teary-eyed, Tobirama looks done with life as he hands him a handkerchief, and down below, the villagers throw petals in the air in celebration.
Kurama, the backstabbing fox, sits atop his shrine altar, in a shrunken form, and looks smug as hell.

It was a lie somewhat. He’d liked her since they were kids but had simply ignored the budding crush expecting it to fade over time. It hadn’t and by the time the war came around, he accepted he would always carry it despite his increasing efforts to drop it. He’d tried drowning it in the river, burning it in a fire, covering it up with something else. But it was all to no avail. It stuck with him, always apart of him.

Summary
This is troublesome. His team is troublesome. The Chūnin exams in general were troublesome. He'd much rather be home playing shogi, but Ino had a fit when she found out Ami and Team 7 were joining. Now he’s standing here listening to a clearly suspicious genin lecture them for some reason or another. Only a fool would take his intentions and warning lightly.
He’d call the dude out, but it seems someone else has. Kiri genin in particular, and how anyone took Kiri shinobi seriously, is a mystery to him. One boy had baby blue silvery hair, and the other was something so beautiful that Shikamaru wasn't going to waste his brain power trying to determine their gender.
The third had pink hair-
What the fuck? Who the hell has pink hair?

After multiple unsuccessful attempts to get him to be interested in anyone, Shikamaru thinks the strategy is a failure. The fact that Sakura sticks around after is not related.
After all, it would be too troublesome to have a crush on Ino's closest friend, right?
