Summary
Considering the amount of death his hands deal on a daily basis, Matt never expected them to be used on him with such reverence and care. AKA 5 times Frank is gentle towards Matt before they put a title on their relationship.
Basically I saw a fic where Frank was abusive and got kind of upset so I used the spite it gave me (no hate to the author, write what you want) to break my no writing streak of two years to churn this out.
And honestly, if you could see my bookmarks you'd know I love the rough stuff, but I am a firm believer in Frank being someone who treats his significant other with the utmost care. I also believe Matt has never experienced care like that and wish to break him by giving it to him. -

"My bed. It smells like you," Red says at last. "It... you were in it."
Fuck. Fuck, shit, damn it. He didn't think this would come back to him.
"Did we have sex?" Red muses, but his face shows no trace of the usual teasing, or the smirk Frank has gotten used to. It has... sadness to it, a tinge of longing and hurt and frustration, like he's not sure if he wants to remember it. Well, not that Frank can really blame him. Who would sleep with the fucking Punisher and actually be proud of it? "Do we still... are we fucking? How did that happen?"
(Or, Matt gets shot in the head, loses his memory and a little bit more than that. He doesn't remember what they were to each other, but somehow, Frank still becomes the anchor that keeps him from going under when the world starts to fall apart.)

Summary
Before Maelle leaves the canvas for good, she fulfills Verso's wish to be mortal but also makes him promise to look after Gustave. Even though he's reclutant at first, Verso quickly discovers that maybe it won't be that difficult to keep that promise. Gustave's company is not so bad and maybe he does have it in him to try to enjoy life again.

Frank's body is full of scars and his hands are calloused. But his lips… They're surprisingly soft and smooth—like silk against Matt's skin.
Matt can't help but think that he wouldn't mind spending an eternity like this, feeling Frank's lips caress his almost lazily—slow movements, like a gentle testing of the waters.
It's different from the kisses they usually share when both are consumed by desire and too hurried to really savor—to feel every movement of their tongues, every caress exchanged by their lips.
