    Tommy’s not a Huntsman Spider anymore, though. He made sure of that when the skies bled black with smoke and the horizon was stained with orange and red.

    Or, Tommy has escaped the Red Room, only to stumble into the lives of a family of Villains, who want him to join their ranks, a corrupt businessman and his makeshift family and a bunch of Heroes, who swear they want to help him.

He fumbled with his binder as he took it, eyes wide as he said, “are you sure? I mean, I love poetry and all, but I don’t think-I’m not sure—what if I can’t write poetry?”

    Mr. Sam’s dark eyes softened, and he reached out to place a hand on Tommy’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. “Everyone has to start somewhere; every poet, from me to Rudy Francisco, started off without knowing a clue about what we were doing. Tommy, it’s not about if you can or cannot write poetry, it’s about if you want to.”

    “Gryffindor!” As the Sorting Hat shouted its result, the audience started to clap, those wearing red were cheering.

    “Fuck yeah!” Beyond thrilled, Tommy jumped from his seat, loudly shouting.

    “Language!” One of the Hufflepuffs in the crowd shouted as everyone in the crowd stopped cheering, giving him awkward stares.

    From the teachers table, Phil heaved a disappointed sigh, putting his hand to his face, while his brothers shared unsurprised laughs and Tubbo continued to clap. Great, he just got sorted and this was the applause he was given. This year was already off to an amazing start.
