Giving in to an impulse, he reached over and brushed the scar with his fingertips, as lightly as he could manage. Sydney’s eyes shifted down, curiously observing him in his peripheral.
“These healed really nicely,” Jedidiah broke the comfortable silence between them with his observation, pausing before he took on a more inquisitive tone. “Are they sensitive?”
