Summary
Did you ever watch this movie and think "hmmm, wouldn't it be cool if this kicked off a whole sitcom/slice-of-life series following growing up with one big supernatural secret?"
I thought so!
It picks up literally right at the end of the movie, and follows the characters over the years through high school! The story is slice of life style, with themes of friendship, family, love, growing up and finding who you are (with merpeople, of course). There are lots of ups and downs, but ultimately it's all about continuing the story with the same beats of whimsicality, fantasy, friendship, and love that make the movie so memorable.

Happy MerMay!!!
For the occasion, this series will feature our favorite merman, Cody Griffin, in alternate universe one-shots meeting different merpeople from other stories! Each story will take place approximately at the end of the respective merpeople's individual movies/books/etc. For Cody, that means for all of these stories, he's 13 and just getting used to being a merman!
I will continue updating these even after MerMay is over because I like the concept and have more ideas!

Summary
''Tyson?" Sally calls, and the man whips his head around so fast that Percy immediately tightens his grip on Riptide again.
And then he sees it.
The man—no, the boy—has one big eye smack in the middle of his forehead, just like his mom said. But Percy expects that. What he doesn't expect is the pure look of joy that crosses the cyclops' face at the sight of them.
"Oh, you're here!" he exclaims, smiling. "I was worried that you weren't coming back."
Sally smiles weakly. "Tyson, this is my son, Percy. The one who I was telling you about."
Standing directly in front of Tyson, Percy's mouth feels like it has gone completely dry. What on earth is he agreeing to?

Summary
When the woman returned with the baby boy in her arms, Poseidon loomed over his shoulder and Dionysus somehow resisted the urge to scoff as he examined the baby boy. His uncle’s overprotective streak wasn’t ending anytime soon.
The boy’s hair was black, certain to be unruly. But the bigger issue was the eyes. The boy inherited his father’s sea green eyes and would instantly give him away. “The eyes have to go.”
Both the woman and Poseidon tense and the wine god doesn’t resist scoffing this time. “As in his eye color! Did you think I meant gouging his eyes out?!”
Or: In order to hide Percy’s parentage, Poseidon convinces Dionysus to claim Percy instead.

Will he be able to keep his secret? Two things are for sure: life's never dull for a half-fish boy, and pretending to be human is really weird.
