Thank you!"To his surprise, the doctor didn't respond, and Tanjiro raised his head. Yoriichi's cheeks were flushed slightly, and he was holding his hands up in an anxious protest. "There is no debt to pay," he insisted in a voice that was as soft as his scent. "You owe me nothing."
A slayer of old is reincarnated. Haunted by memories that he doesn't understand of blood and regret, he vows never to hold a blade and takes up the mantle of a healer instead.

The bright sunlight of Scar having accomplished something, too delighted with himself to keep the feeling inside his own body."...Scar?" Summary
The Codfather weaves his fingertips together so that the slight webbing between his fingers touches. It's the first time in a while he's had both hands away from his shoulder, where at least one has been hovering near his sword hilt almost the entire time, despite Katherine's glares. "It's a marriage treaty, between the royalty of the oppositions, bound in blood and salt; for peace and mutual gain."
His voice has gained a slight sing-song cadence to it, even through what is clearly a slightly stumbling translation, that Xornoth recognizes from their own anytime they are reciting something from their childhood lessons, even to this day.

Well, he wasn't alone for long.
Gemini Lehman had been enjoying her day off, hiking through the woods, bird watching, and sketching the view. She had plans for that week! Plans! Then that stupid tractor-beam or whatever sci-fi called them had to go and ruin her day! ... why was there a half-clipped bird in her cell? Were these guys animal abusers??
Gem hoped they were prepared for the consequences of being animal abusers.
