Summary
Error has won and every AU is demolished. All that's left is the Omega Timeline, housing all life in what remains of the multiverse. In a bleak world, Ink was assigned the sole savior and leader of the Omega Timeline, becoming the single most influential force in modern society. Behind surveillance, Ink conducts a desperate project aiming to discover any last AUs that may be out there. But his search leads to something else. A radical discovery. A system of endless rooms. Worlds. Holding this realm open is becoming unstable and endangering the public, leading to the project's shaky future. The recent disappearance of local citizens sparks suspicion while Ink's image and the Omega Timeline alike fight to stay intact. A search mission starts up but the missing individuals are far beyond anywhere that can be reached on foot.

Summary
Core formed a research group with Ink and Dream to investigate recent negativity spikes. It is unclear who or what is behind this, but if unsolved, the multiverse will a catastrophe bigger than the X Event.
Ink isolates himself from the project and spirals into personal despair, secretly assigning Error to destroy particular AUs. Meanwhile, Dream and Cross search for their lost children, who disappeared one sunny morning. They wrongly believe Nightmare is at fault. After discovering Dream's secret social life, Lux seeks revenge, manipulating PJ and the children into a shady plan.
Still with no resolution, Error and Ink make a strange alliance, while the multiverse's children are forced to leave their old lives behind to combat the force consuming the multiverse.

A world that had real life superheroes, and much to his budding excitement, hero School!

His soul gave another violent thump, glowing brighter under the blanket. Confusion followed on its heels. Was this normal? Was this what growing up in a house like theirs did to a kid? Or was there something broken in him, something that made watching his parents fuck the most intense thing he’d ever felt? He had no frame of reference. No experience to compare it to. Only a frenzy of heat and guilt and aching curiosity that refused to settle.
Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes, unexpected. The realization that the curiosity he’d carried since he was small had teeth now. That he couldn’t unsee it. That part of him didn’t want to unsee it.

“You don't know me,” The monster replies. Ink feels his body unwind with relief. “But I do know you.” They add.

For some individuals, memories run so deep that they can remember the very moment of their birth—their first cry, their first scream—and even the admiring “oohs” and “awws” of their parents as they marvel at their newborn. While most parents cherish the new life they’ve brought into the world and envision a promising future for their child, Ink and Error were different.
They were always at odds—two forces clashing in a strange, never-ending battle. Their fights, filled with broken bones, scorched paint, and snapping strings, might have seemed dangerous to an outsider, yet the two secretly knew that they’d never kill each other.

Having a family brings about unforeseen challenges, but Error and Ink worked out a system. A system that works well for their charming little family, anyway. Error stays home and watches the kids while Ink does his ever-pressing job, and vice versa on the rare occasions Error has to clock in. Error doesn't mind; the more time he gets to spend at home on the couch, the better. Even if his bunch of kids can give him a headache sometimes.
One day, this flawless system comes to a screeching halt when Error realizes he completely forgot about his promise to the vengeful King of Darkness. It's just his luck that the day he is all alone with the kids is the day he has to go help a fickle guardian with this week's malicious heist plan, huh?
Well, you win some, you lose some. "Bring your kids to work day?" Bringing them to a heist you completely forgot you promised to do counts as "work" too, right?
