(I know that it's tagged as mature but there is NO SMUT OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. The most you get is a REFERENCE to the... Ra's sister incident in Red Robin and that's definitely not shown in an attractive way. Mature is due to references to situations such as suicide, self harm, and overall harmful incidents, with only 2 fics so far actually focusing on such. Stay safe everyone, you are not alone.)

Neither were ashamed of their relationship, their sexuality, nor romantic preferences, just that it wasn't the public's business how Eijirou and Katsuki lived their personal lives, if it comes out that they'd kept their marriage a secret for years, how would that be spun? Would it ruin Katsuki's career? Why couldn't Eijirou just be normal and loved like everyone else did? Why did he have to be so weird with his rules and his instance of a queer platonic relationship?
