And a paradox at the heart of the Eclipse that should never have been possible.When the Doctor, Amy and Rory answer a distress signal, they find the experimental starship Eclipse deserted — but not empty. Time is slipping, reflections are moving on their own, and something hungry is phasing in and out of reality. When the ship’s drive tears a hole between dimensions, the TARDIS is violently repelled, leaving the Doctor stranded on one side of the breach… and Amy and Rory on the other.
With the crew begging for help from behind the mirrors and a silent saboteur stalking the corridors, the Doctor must unravel the Eclipse Paradox before the dimensional collapse becomes irreversible. But something else has noticed the breach — something silver, patient and closing fast.

There was a brief moment, barely a second where everything was okay. His head was swimming with something just to the left of a hangover – must have been a good night. He could still smell Jack, as if he were in the room over and had only just left, he could still feel his thumb brushing tenderly over his cheek, careful to avoid the gash that barely had time to stop bleeding before he died.

Summary
Still stricken with grief after the events in Manhattan, The Doctor attempts an unorthodox method to try and get Amy and Rory back. However, his heartfelt reunion with Amy is abruptly cut short when a carnivorous dinosaur stows away on board the TARDIS and is released into the present day. Once on its trail, The Doctor and his companions must do all that they can to survive another day and deal with outside forces that have their own interest in the dinosaur.
