Note from author: This is a revised arc of "Gwen and the Magic Inkwell" with some original chapters and brand new ones coming in the future.
Everyone, after much thinking and going through a Fanfiction "Scope Creep", I've decided to back to writing Gwen stories from the old days when Gwen was living with Cuphead and Mugman and Elder Kettle when she was 18 and human. I'm rewriting the "Gwen and the Magic Inkwell" arc now called "Gwen and the Magic Inkwell Reimagined" with the old stories with brand-new adventures with the bosses that haven't been featured in "The Cuphead Show!" and still follow the storyline from the 3 seasons.
Gwen is an 18-year old girl from Boston, Massachusetts who dreams to be free from her parent's restriction during the Great Depression and choose her own path. After picking up a magical artifact she found that gives her incredible powers, she is kidnapped by the Devil and brought to the Inkwell Isles to be his wife. After escaping Inkwell Hell, she befriends two cup brothers, she is taken in by their caretaker Elder Kettle and the cups bring her on their adventures and making new friends and enemies along the way.

After Cuphead and Mugman collect all of the debtors' soul contracts and defeat the Devil, the two brothers find a job in the casino as waiters. Everybody in that casino has found their family in there and, albeit reluctantly, accept the cups as their own. Even King Dice and the Devil.
But a broken, millenia old deal, strange children, hungry monsters and growing weakness gloom over the Inkwell Isles and threaten to swallow everyone whole.
Will Cuphead, Mugman, the Devil and King Dice be able to save their home while coming to grips with their own feelings, pasts and fears?
