Chapter Text
Bendy slowly opened his eyes. Another stupid nightmare. He was getting so cussing sick of them! And by the red glow of his hands - his eyes were active again. He put his hands on the two red dots. The demon tried to calm down. To breathe in and out - something! Anything! But it didn’t help. His shadows were about to lash out again. And stars forgive him if he actually hurt someone!
He glanced over to the other bed where the wolf should be. He wasn’t there. Good. But his shadows were already on the loose. Not good. There already was a crack. Something dropped to the ground. He sighed deeply. This was a bother and a nightmare at the same time. He didn’t want to hurt anyone! He wanted to talk to someone other than his mind! But he also didn’t want to be with anyone. The demon turned to the other side of the bed and-
...
Why were two Parts here? In his bed. Didn’t they lock them up? The Doll stared at the demon that fell outta bed with a yelp.
The Brush sat beside the Doll. This room that Bendy had been cooped up in suddenly seemed like a graveyard. He quickly went to the door and opened it- There was nothing but a void, where the two Parts were sitting at again.
Bendy quickly slammed the door shut. So...This was a dream. Right. He got out. And if he didn’t- The dammed chicken nugget had another thing coming to her! She wanted to scare him? Drive him mad? So be it. Let him play her game. With his own rules!
Bendy!
That was Boris' voice. Her cussing pet thought that Bendy would fall this easily again, huh?
Wake up!
He'd wake up alright. On his own. No need for a wake up call, little chicken. Bendy’s face was now tainted with a sinister grin. He took the Brush into his one hand and the Doll into his other hand. The Brush lit up with Thinner. It seemed that the walls themselves screamed with fear and anger.
Good.
-
Boris tried to wake his brother up. It was afternoon now. And, sure, Bendy hadn't slept for a week to help Cuphead survive, but the Parts went missing! Thankfully, not all of them, the Cog was still there, but still! Half the work gone! This was bad. Nearly the whole house was now in jeopardy. Not like everyone knew what was going on, but it was a mess. And Bendy needed to know.
Bendy squirmed and turned around. He was really deep into sleeping right now. But he had been sleeping for days! And he himself knew he had stuff to do! Stuff with his stupid mentor of a hat! Stuff that they both needed to fix between each other! Stuff like 'The Parts went missing!'.
"Bendy! Wake up! The Brush and the Doll went missing from the Observatory!" At least the Instrument was still with him. His brother wasn’t waking up. Oh that’s it.
No more sleepy time. He pulled on the tail of his brother. The small demon fell right out of bed. Ouch. Boris winced for his brother. He knew that should'a hurt. But... He still wasn’t waking up. The wolf climbed over the bed. Bendy's body swayed a bit. He was on his hands, on his kneels, still on the floor. Not saying anything.
"Bendy! Stop being stupid! I know you're mad at me, but we have to get the Parts!" Boris looked at the quiet form before him. He was about to walk to him when Bendy just...
Stared at him. With eyes the wolf wasn’t used to. Not pale ones. Not red ones. Pitch-black ones. Just like Boris now had. There was a single flickering light in the sea of darkness. And it stared at the wolf with anger, rage, craze and... Power that horrified the wolf. Power that definitely wasn’t there before.
Bendy grinned with a wide grin. There were tiny drops of ink flowing down his brother’s body. Was it an ink attack?
"Bendy! Sit down! You're about to have an attack! Hold up, I'll get pills." Boris nearly came to the demon's bag and took a cloth when a liquid of acidic green spilled out from nowhere. No way.
It couldn’t be. The wolf looked to where the green shot. There was a hole... A hole that smelled of acid. The same acid that took Mickey's leg!
The young wolf, horrified, spared a glance to the attacker. There his brother was. A face of annoyance pulled on his white fur.
"Ahw... I missed." He whined. Then the left hand lit up with a green. Boris' eyes widened to the size of saucers. "Better not miss again, huh. You better run, you little bird. Time to have my fun." Bendy’s voice was layered over with power. Whether it was his or not. Boris didn’t wait for answers. He ran. The crazy grin the demon gave him was enough to say that wasn’t Bendy.
He sprinted down the stairs, despite having two left feet. Boris managed to reach the living room and hide behind the closest person he could find - Felix, coming out from the study room. The cat seemed to be looking through some ancient scrolls they found, but his eyes widened when he saw the wolf. The adventurer stopped. Boris immediately hid behind the cat, heavily panting.
"Boris? What happened? Why are you running?" Felix's voice held worry and suspicion. Boris had to have a few moments to recompose himself.
"B-Bendy! Something- Something's wrong! He shot Thinner at me! Tried to kill me!" The wolf's voice cracked with fear. Felix's ears perked up. He seemed surprised, skeptical even, but not really somehow. Like he couldn’t believe something like this would happen, but could.
"Oh birdie! Come out come out!" 'Bendy' sang. Then a cackle of a maniac followed right after. The floor upstairs creaked. He was near. Boris shivered.
The whole house froze. Holly shared a look with Cala. Dr. Oddswell was a blank slate. Red and Granny looked scared, unnerved, but ready to batter the 'monster'. Hiss started... well hissing and panicking. Along with Jerry, though he seemed a lot more level-headed. Lil' John only seemed surprised and deeply concerned.
There was a crash. Now a form that was dripping dark ink, with hints of blue and green towered above the cat and wolf. It stood up, instead of leaning. The being's left eye was nearly fully covered in the inky liquid. It was around 6 feet tall. The hungry eye met with the eyes of the duo. The demon's long, spiky tail swished with glee, destroying a piece of the stairs. The end of the long limb looked like the end of a.... Brush. What?
"Found you!" It grinned. Boris quickly looked around - everyone looked deathly pale-
Felix pushed the wolf out of the way. "RUN!" He yelled, pulling out a rope from his magic bag.
"But- But what about-" Boris started saying, but Holly and Cala quickly went to the wolf to get him out of the house. Felix nodded in appreaciation to the two girls.
"We'll be fine! It seems you're the target! And we have to get you safe first. Restrain Bendy later, if possible." Boris reluctantly ran out with the two girls. Lil' John came to help Felix. They wrestled for a bit before Bendy easily knocked them away. He had merely been playing before.
The demon's gaze went cold. He leaned in on the cat and the bear. "You, whether you like it or not are not gonna stop me. These little extras in your home-made nightmare, Sarah, aren't going to do anything." Bendy walked over to the door calmly, despite the house's protests and yells to explain himself or from the snake and Jerry: call the police. "Just because I left these puppets of yours alive-
--"-Doesn't mean I'm weak. It means you... and everyone else in this fake world is at my mercy. I don’t care whether you make them cry or shout or hit me again and again- no. I care that I end you. Once. And. For all." Bendy flipped the enlargened brush in his hands gracefully again. He swung it like he wanted to make a giant brush stroke across the canvas. Green liquid spewed out. The cage the bird had made melted completely, like it was never there. Time to truly begin.--
The demon grinned again. The whole front of the house was now missing. Any smell of the wall before hidden in acid stench. Despite the efforts of most of the house - Bendy just... Was too powerful. And what did Sarah have to do with this? Did he think this was fake? Why was he after Boris?
Well, no questions for now. Felix stood up and dusted himself off. He had a few bruises, but it wasn’t much. He took his bag and went to the wolf. But not before asking for reinforcements. If this played out just right, he could get the circus crew to help them right on time.
And, if anything, they'd get Alice and probably Mugman. But if the angels came, he'd need to play his cards right.
He'd do anything because Felix knew this wasn’t one of the kind, brave and strong kids he wanted to adopt. This was not Bendy. It was something else. Something with the Parts again.
It was getting tiring at this point. Felix inwardly sighed and got out his vehicle. The cat quickly shook his head and turned on his sharp eyes.
Now where would they be? Judging by the fact that they wouldn’t want any innoccent people in the way and they wouldn’t want to get the angels called on them - they'd probably go to the woods or the outskirts of the city.
There was a familiar stench of the blue thing... What did they call that again? ...Uh... Right, they called it 'Paint'. But what was Bendy creating? Felix went to the source of the smell.
He stopped to find literal waves of glass. There were still people complaining and freaking out about the magic creations, but Felix didn’t care. The cat wondered why there would be something like this. Maybe to make movement harder? Maybe to trap Boris, Holly and Cala? What else could it be used for? He stopped and took a few minutes to examine it. It wasn’t normal glass, that much could be said.
It was a lot more slippery. Like ramps to gain momentum. And by the warmth in the middle of the usual coldness - it was made not too long ago. Like a few hours ago at most. Felix clenched his fist. He was near.
He took out the motorcycle again. The cat put on his helmet and rode away swiftly, dodging any sharp edges from the ramps. Or the destroyed roads. Or the rubble from the buildings. Ah, bloody hell, this felt like Nightmare Night all over again. Only it wasn’t night and way too sudden.
But where the heck could that demon be?! Felix was probably going to go into an early grave with how this boy was jumping around.
The stench got so bad that the adventurer had to cover his nose. He slowed down a bit. Where oh where could they be?
He saw a trio of a wolf, human and a gorgon run through the smoke, screaming. There was a bigger-than-before figure after them. Ah. So that was his answer.
Felix went to help the trio. His motorcycle sped up again. He rode fast enough for the demon not to catch up to him, but for Boris, Holly and Cala to get on the vehicle. They'd somehow squeeze together.
"Boris! Eveyone else! Get on!" The wolf, with horrified pitch-black eyes of his own, nodded and jumped. The cat caught the boy. Then the girls came - they sat down just as gracefully as the target of Bendy. The bag squirmed like it was about to change shape when a tall, slim body towered them again. This time at eight feet.
There were his shadows. The spikes on the demon were larger, bigger, more deadly. His horns were bigger, a bit curved in on the inside. The claws were massive, along with new rows of sharp teeth. The tail seemed like some kind of large metal pole on it’s own. As wide as Felix's arm in width. The 'spike' at the end of the Brush were the bristles, along with the ferrule. The bristles seemed to split into three parts - one large center, two smaller pieces on the side. The green and blue looked like they were a part of Bendy, grazed with the dripping black. It kind of looked like the usual Ink Bendy form, except the coldness was different. It was colder, denser and instead of the red tint, there was a fight between the Paint and Thinner's colors. The void of an eye stared deep with malicious joy and glee.
Bendy hissed. Felix's bag didn’t waste any time - it turned into a car, swallowing the four. The new vehicle quickly sped away from the unusual being. Felix drove. Holly turned back, her hair as messy as ever.
"He's running on all fours again! Hurry! He'll catch up in no time!" She screamed. The cat's fur puffed up and he sped up once again. He was probably going at illegal speeds, but who cared?! This was a life-or-death matter.
"Get back here!" The demon exclaimed, with such a powerful voice that could probably shake the Devil himself. Then he cackled yet again. It brought chills to the cat. Boris whimpered.
"He's using that blue thing to create again!" Cala Maria screamed.
"'Again'? What happened last time? Did he use those as ramps or something?" Felix asked, swirling the car to one side, then another. He desperately tried not to crash his bag.
"More like used them as waves of his own that later solidified into glass, but yeah." Holly breathlessly explained. "Those things were so sharp! One minute they're just some kind of odd liquid and the next - you nearly get impaled by it! And he surfed, Felix! He cussing surfed with it!" Oh so that was much worse, huh?
"Is there anything we can do to stop him?" Cala asked. "If he's after you-" she pointed to Boris. "-there has to be something he needs or wants, right?"
"Wait... Didn’t he call you a bird? He called you Sarah. But she's gone! So why would he see you as Sarah? She is gone, right? I don’t want any chicks like that anymore in my life." Felix sighed. But it was starting to make sense. The things that nightmare of a toon put them all through, especially Bendy. No wonder he'd come after her the first moment he got the chance. But this is insanity! Why does he see Boris like Sarah?
"Maybe the Parts are messing with his brain? Like it did to me." Holly tried explaining.
"I guess..." Boris weakly shrugged. The wolf took out the Record from under his shirt and looked at it. "But why is it messing with him? The Brush didn’t seem to have any kind of conscious, only its powers. The Doll only seemed to walk on its own and injure Bendy if it got injured." The wolf's ears drooped.
"Well... the Parts are a lot more than they look at first. Maybe this is just one more ability? The Cog and Record already did it though." Cala thought along with them.
"Not to mention he looks somehow fused with the Brush. And if that’s only the Brush-" The woman shared an uneasy look with the toons in the car.
"-Then where is the Doll?" Felix finished her sentence. Now here was another problem-
They shared concerned looks. Tense quietness filled the little vehicle. The group will need someone to check out either the Study room or the Observatory again. If the Doll was anything like they knew - it wasn’t with Bendy. It was somewhere away from danger. Somewhere away from Bendy.
The colorful demon suddenly slammed on to the front of the car. It stopped to a halt. Bendy quickly pried the door open and grabbed Boris from the back seat. He grinned sadistically again, while the wolf's fur matted with sweat and tears.
"I wonder... What will an eldritch horror do once its limbs were sliced and diced one. By. One." Boris screamed, desperately trying to get put of his brother's grasp.
"Bendy! Please! It’s me!" He pleaded.
"Bendy! Look at him! Calm down! You're going to hurt him!" Cala shouted. She was getting out of the car quickly, but Bendy’s deadpan stare stopped her in her tracks.
Suddenly Holly threw the door open and sprayed something on the demon. He hissed. It looked like it hurt. Bendy started cursing and rubbing his face, letting go of the 14 year old. Boris landed on the concrete with a thump. Felix's bag turned into a regular accesory and now rested on his hip.
They quickly picked up the wolf and ran with him through the streets. Boris helped them to get away with directions of his own. Apparently running from all kinds of folk with Bendy in the past was really turning out to be useful. Holly and Cala stood on the sides, while Felix went behind the poor kid. He still seemed shaken up, but had a determined glint in his eyes.
They suddenly stopped once again. Thankfully, this time they wouldn’t need to run from Bendy. A mouse, rabbit and duck appeared, panting deeply.
"So..." Oswald breathed in and out deeply. He finally raised his head from the ground. "Where’s the fire?" The rabbit smirked.
Then a literal fire went from the side in the corner on the left of the crew. There was a yell of anger somewhere from between the streets. A tree engulfed in it and disintegrated the same second it touched the flames. Everyone's eyes widened massively.
"...I didn't mean that so literally." Oswald grimaced.
"SARAH!" The voice howled with anger and rage. The name went off in echoes. A deep, animalistic growl followed the now-empty streets.
"He's after Boris!" Felix quickly said. "No time to explain, but he thinks for some reason that Boris is Sarah. It might just be the Brush or something. There doesn't seem much that can bother him now, it even looks like a fusion with it!"
"The only working thing so far is this-" Holly showed the bottle again. It was half-empty. "It’s basically Holy Water. It seemed to tick him off and hurt a bit, but-..." The woman took a deep breath in. "...as long as he doesn't do something he will regret-" She glanced at Boris. "-we'll be fine."
"But won’t we need more water for that?" Mickey asked, coming closer to the wolf.
"We will. That's why I'll contact the Upper and Alice with Mugs. Bet angels have tons of that stuff. I'm sure Cup will be watched over by the other folk up there. We need many people to save down here first and somehow hide the Part if more angels, other than Alice, came here." Holly took out her magical compact and held it before everyone. "But first- you'll need to protect Boris. Mickey, Oswald, Felix. Right now, you all are our best bet." The trio nodded. "Me and Cala will try to contact the others." The gorgon came closer to her friend. "Donald. Be zany." She threw the duck the bottle. Despite looking as a grump, as always, he definitely had the hint of a mischievous smile on his beak. He did a sallute.
"We will need to stop this. Before this falls. All of Toon Town. The whole world even!" Tree princess looked over the people in their group. They could make it.
Just then, a building's whole front floors fell down. It was like an explosion. From above the roof, a pitch-black eye looked at them with otherwordly resentment. There were no lights left in the sea. The demon could be felt from the whole park. His rage, with no more glee, filled the whole area.
"RUN!" She yelled. The group split up. Holly could only hope that they made it out alive.
The gorgon and the human jumped through trash cans, alleys, rubble, still left-over glass ramps. It went on for a good while, until they felt they were safe, but not too far either to help.
Since Mugs now probably had Cup's compact and he was in the Upper with Alice, Holly decided to call him.
It ringed for a bit with a statuc screen before someone answered it.
"Hello?" Mugs rubbed his eye. Alice was in the screen too, with tired eyes and a surprised 'o' on her mouth. He seemed to be in Cuphead's medical tent right now.
"What's going on?" Alice asked, her brows furrowed.
"Mugman! You're okay!" Cala exclaimed with a blush. Mugman answered her the same way. "How's Cup-" The gorgon shook her head. "No, wait- we need help!" Her eyes suddenly widened.
Mugs and the angel shared a look. "What's going on?" He asked, a determined glare already on his face.
"It’s Bendy!" Holly spoke up. Alice and Mugman’s brows flew up in surprise. "Something came up with the Parts and now he's like- like- fused with the Brush! And the Doll is still missing! It went missing this morning!"
"Wh-" Alice tried to ask, but Holly just kept going.
"And he's after Boris! He's transformed, already reaking havoc and he can use both Paint and Thinner! He thinks that Boris is Sarah, so he's after him! Trying to kill him!" The woman could finally breath in. Wow, that sounded like an apocalypse when said out loud. Which it kinda was.
"What?" Mug’s voice went into shock, the angel joining him in confusion.
"We need help! It’s as if he's indestructible and only Holy Water bothers him!" Cala said, her arms up with plea.
"But won’t that hurt him?" Alice asked, worry tainting her eyes.
"So what? If the angels find out- He'll be a lot worse than hurt! And if we don’t stop him- We'll be dead at best!" Alice didn’t know how to respond to that. Dead? Cold dread filled her chest. She glanced at the mug before her. He seemed to be conflicted. She knew why.
On the one hand, he wanted to help, on the other - he wanted to keep watch over his brother. She glanced at the unconscious, but still alive cup on the bed.
"I'll see what I can do." Alice nodded.
"But what about Cup?" Mugs asked as the compact turned to static again. He closed the little box. There was concern, anger and fear mixed in his heart.
"I- I'm sure it's up to you. You can decide. The angels will keep Cuphead safe here. We never leave a recovering toon alone and vulnerable before making sure he can at least walk. Even after that, it'd be quite difficult to get the angels to stop fussing from a miracle like your brother." She shrugged. Mugs seemed even more conflicted. He kept staring at Cup, then at her, at Cup and then again at her.
"If I don’t go, what will you do? You heard that Bendy is pretty coo-coo crazy right now." He said as he spinned his finger in the air aimed at his head. "And with the power of the Part. He's a problem. A big one. Not to mention the Doll."
Alice put her finger on her chin. Mugs had a point. But there were a few that Alice could really trust to not hurt Bendy, right? Yeah. She could tell to some of the troublemakers of the Upper! Jake, Rachel and Leila! Ah- but Rach was too young...
She could get Leila to come by her power as an Archangel and Jake would want to come willingly. If she masked it as a prank, that is.
Okay then!
The next few minutes she spent running around, getting the two angels, the Holy Water filled water guns, water bombs and all other things that could make water into ammo. Jake and Leila were surprised that Alice would get back into troublemaking, but it's not like she left anyway! She got her Mom to give them permission, after much begging. It was pretty difficult to convince her. And, to her delight, Mugs decided to come with. But he wanted to do this quick.
After all that sudden preparation, she did not expect to see Toon Town in a messed up art piece. Alice landed gently on her feet, Jake with her. The four glanced around. There were ramps, odd flowers, disfigured pieces of furniture and holes and walls in the ground or buildings. Many people were still running around, but, luckily, the three angels already managed to conceal their halos and wings.
"What the hell happened here?!" Mugman asked, eyes wide.
"I wanted to come to the Surface, but dear Heavens Above! Was it always this destroyed?" Leila shook her head in fear and concern.
"No." Mugs, Alice and Jake said at the same time. There was a whirl pool of emotions around them, but what dropped on the angel like a brick was the cold dread in their stomachs.
Just then, they heard a monstrous howl. It was layered over with unimaginable power and barely understandable, but what she got out was one name. Sarah.
That was where their 'monster' was now probably.
Alice got out her spray bottles. Mugs took the water bazooka. Jake had his hands full with smaller, quicker and lighter water guns. Leila had throwing knives, dipped in Holy Water.
"Get goin', Wolfy-Boy!" Oswald screamed as he carried Boris on his back, the wolf's ears down in his skull. A shriek of pure malice followed suit. What the-
"Bendy! Calm down!" Felix's voice rang out. She heard the noise of something snapping and then combusting. "Bloody hell!" The cat exclaimed.
"Felix! Are you alright?!" Mickey yelled.
"Yeah! Just..." Something cracked behind the buiding. "Woah! Yeah, just my jacket!"
"STOP IT!" Something that was probably Bendy exclaimed.
"Make me, ya overgrown furball!" Donald most likely quacked out.
"I'll turn you into air!" Then Donald screeched like a chicken that just lost its head. "Bad kitty! Bad kitty!" She saw how a white duck ran from a green liquid. It disintegrated a building collumn.
"That... Can’t be." Mugman whispered.
"It is." Alice nodded.
"What is?" The other two angels asked. Ah, right, she didn’t tell them about those Parts and the illness, and the Machine. That can wait!
"Not important now! Watch out for the blue and green from Bendy! Don’t make the mistake of touching it! You won’t survive." Her friends only turned on their most determined glares.
They took off. And then saw-
Saw-
...
Huh?
The cat, with no hat or jacket riding atop of a creature that had a few similarities to Bendy, but not many. That looked like a rodeo, Mickey bothered the being with a spray bottle. Felix hung on for dear life. It seemed he was trying to tie down the 15 feet tall monster, but the rope was disintegrating.
The monster in question, thrashing left and right, trying to hit both of the toons, was something from bizarro nightmares. "Let your puppets go, you damned chicken nugget!" It howled. "Get off!" Ah, so it was Bendy.
A Bendy that was even twice as tall as his Ink form. That had horns that could easily crush a skull. Claws that could destroy a cherub's head easily. With blue and green fighting in his body for control. His tail a brush, spikes on his hands, legs, tail and spine. The teeth looked like a meat grinder that could easily gobble up a human. His eyes pure black, with black lines down his cheeks. His aura was so chaotic. Was it even demon anymore? Geez.
"And I thought last time was the worst." Mugs sighed.
"Well, at least he doesn't seem like he genuinely wants to hurt someone other than Boris." Alice thought out loud.
Then Bendy got on all fours suddenly, twirled as if in a dance and grabbed Felix from his back by one of his large green limbs. It was quick. Alice wasn’t sure how Mickey ended up on the ground, in a cratter, with a groaning Felix on his face. Bendy wailed with only rage. That was their queue. Bendy needed to 'chill' back.
Jake seemed to get the queue earlier than others. "Hey! Big guy!" He started firing the Holy Water at the deformed demon. Bendy put his claw before his face. He growled.
"That's it! I'm done!" He shouted, jumping high up in the sky and trying to land on the group's heads. Luckily, all of them managed to roll or fly away. The rubble still got in the way though. Alice yelped as a shadow took her by her ankle and threw her to a building.
"Alice!" The toons exclaimed.
"I'm fine!" She yelled back.
They surrounded Bendy with their water weapons, spraying him as much as they could. It seemed like steam was rising from the demon. He hissed and yowled. Threw Paint and Thinner. Lashed his tail, nearly snapping Mugs' head off. He swung his claws and got a few lucky hits. Still, he seemed to be holding back a bit. If he really didn’t, Alice had a feeling that if he was doing this with his whole power, the Town would be drowning in acid and creation.
Bendy threw his arm up and a ball of acidic green started forming above his head. It was getting bigger. Bigger. And bigger. His face was tainted with now-quiet fury. Alice didn’t like the fury, not one bit. The air turned icy as did Bendy’s resolve to talk it out.
Suddenly he started coughing. Coughing ink. Was he having an attack? He fell to one knee as a crater appeared in the ground. The ball of destruction towered into a building's architecture. The construction started falling on Bendy. And he wasn’t moving anywhere.
"BENDY!" Nearly everyone exclaimed as they went near to the demon. Dust fell over. Acid, sweat, fire and blood mixed in the air. There still were people screaming in the background, but Alice didn’t care. The rubble covered his before 15 feet form. Alice ran to the mess, crazily searching through the pieces of metal and concrete. The others joined in.
Why?...
Why-...
...
Alice's eyes widened marginally as she looked at what was left in the rubble. Tears stained her already pale cheeks.
A hand. A hand that was receding into ink.
She wanted to scream. She wanted to run. She wanted to search for his whole body. She wanted to never talk again. Alice’s body shook as whimpers left her body. Felix came and covered his mouth with his two hands, shaking his head. Then the mouse, then the duck, the two angels, the dish, the woman, the gorgon, the rabbit and the wolf.
They all were frozen. But then-
The hand twitched.
Boris' eyes widened. The others' probably did too, but she only kept her eyes on the poor wolf.
Golden threads lit up around it, gifting the limb its form back. The light made the fingers move one by one, as if getting a new replacement for an old body part. The arm branch was suddenly yanked back by the same golden threads. Alice didn’t watch to what or who it connected to, only that it did. It looked as if it sewed itself back to its right place on the body. It started moving good as new, the light disappearing.
And now Alice looked to the owner of the hand.
There stood a 10 feet creature of ink. Its eyes were covered. Malice, anger and pain, killing intent clouded its aura. It was grinning with a grin that almost looked permanent. It was dripping with ink, but it didn’t seem to bother the creature. The monster seemed to linger back and forth. Maybe the thing seemed weak, but Alice knew better. That creature had more power than any of the combined and multiplied. The tail lashed with no purpose at all. But it was the end of an ink pen. A silver ink pen. It slowly raised its head towards Boris.
"Boris..." Mugman whispered.
It launched at the wolf. "RUN! GET OUTTA HERE!" Mugman screamed as he pushed the wolf and lit up his finger with a powerful light.
