It's sounds achingly familiar, sounds like the voice he used to giggle and squirm against whenever it whispered teasingly in his ear. A familiar and loving sound that would wake him up every single morning of his youth with a soft kiss and a stare full of such admiration. "That's not a zombie," Tsumiki mutters from behind him, no longer stuck to the corner of the room and instead back by his side, expression clear of any previous fear.

Summary
Atsushi gets affected unknowingly by the ability user they are trying to track down; he slowly watches and feels himself dieing with out being able to do anything :D.
So with little clues and a little knowledge the group that had been set up for the mission and Atsushi himself, try to track down and deal with this disease ability user(with several trials and errors) before new symptoms arise, old ones get worse, or worse comes to worse he ends up dead.
Other issues (one specifically involving a certain black haired Mafioso) also arise in Atsushi's time of crisis as he barely spends a moment away from the other while Akutagawa is by doctors orders made to "babysit" Atsushi as his health deteriorates. With weeks on end spent together in the same hotel room, vulnerable and half delirious, its only reasonable that other feeling between the two break way to the point its hard to ignore.
2,500-15,000+ words per chapter, but they get longer as you read, so you're eased into it.
