Summary
Clark Kent is not the last son of Krypton. He is a scion of an ancient angelic bloodline — enslaved by demons and nearly driven to extinction. Saved as an infant and raised on a Kansas farm, he announced himself as Superman, the most powerful metahuman of all.
Meanwhile, in the city of Red Grave, the demon hunter Dante, together with his brother Vergil, embarks on a suicide mission into Hell to destroy the roots of the Qliphoth tree and seal the portal between the two worlds. But just as they are about to reach their goal, the brothers encounter mysterious angelic-like beings of incredible power...
The events take place immediately after the end of DMC 5. Certain plotlines from the Netflix series are also considered canon for this work.
