Summary
Takes place during Year One. Dodging EMP guns and hover tanks, the Batman of the future is busy with an anarchist punk who may be unwittingly in league with the corporatocracy he wants to overthrow. Meanwhile, the heartbreak of Batman’s close friend, Maxine Gibson, eventually drives her back to old habits: dangerous mind games with Spellbinder. Neither will escape before facing the harrowing darkness within. Check out my Substack for a .pdf download with illustrations and extras.

Summary
After six exhausting months of training under Bruce Wayne, the teenage Batman of the Future has big plans for his summer vacation. Unfortunately, so does his mentor. This fic is a crash course in becoming Batman as well as a bit of an homage to Bill Finger. Since so much in the Batman universe is named after Bob Kane, I decided to base a villain off Finger (though his better aspects are reflected in Bruce). A .pdf with illustrations is available on my Substack.

Summary
As high school graduation looms, Terry struggles to explain what he plans on doing with his life. His relationship with Dana is getting more serious and more strained. The Stalker, meanwhile, has been released from New Arkham. This story fleshes out his origins and fires Chekhov's gun. As always, the link in my profile will take you to .pdf downloads at my Substack, which have illustrations and other extras.

Summary
Takes place after high school. When a techno-gnostic attacks Gotham City with an A.I. designed by Lucius Fox, Batman must defeat her without his frozen bank account and without using any of the advanced technology she can hack and control. This story was never meant to be allegorical. It happened on its own. Maybe I wrote it for you? Check out my profile to get to the .pdf download that includes extras like illustrations.

Summary
When Phantasm kills a prominent mobster just days before Christmas, city-wide gang war threatens to break out, and Terry has no idea who’s really responsible. This one made my husband cry. Let me know if this at all resembles Phantasm's recent cameo in comics, because I didn't read it! Also, you're really going to want the soundtrack for this one. Check out the link to my Substack in my profile.

Summary
Original villain based off Oscar Wilde and Lord Byron. A hedonistic empath, unable to control himself, attempts to control everyone else instead. As emotions and desires spread through his psychic manipulation, the Batman of the future finds himself at war with himself and with the cop he’s dating. I tried not to make this one too sexual but yanno. For A03 it still probably isn't?

Summary
Short standalone. Batman Beyond is so heavily inspired by Blade Runner, yet there isn’t really a Blade Runner “episode”! This was my humble attempt at capturing the uncertainty in Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Check out my Substack for illustrations and a playlist.

Summary
In the distant future, Bruce Wayne has seen to it that every gun control law he wanted was passed. But when an innocent civilian decides to defend herself, and a sting on a trafficking ring exposes widespread corruption, the Batman of the Future expresses his doubts — causing the original Batman to suspect they may not remain allies long. Includes some minor TZP characters.

Summary
A standalone, three-part novella reworking Batman Beyond’s “Epilogue” into something less convoluted and more palatable. Along the way, I give redemption arcs to Mad Stan and Armory. I also introduce three new villains (one an antihero based on Dietrich Bonhoeffer). There’s even a brief Bat Family reunion. The .pdf download on my Substack is full of illustrations and extras!

Summary
After wiping out the Society of Assassins and escaping death row, Curaré sets out on a deadly new mission that at first baffles the original Batman and his protégé. As they discover her origins and the horrifying fate that awaits her, the new Batman confronts his limitations and his own self-hatred. Explores failure, the aikido concepts of uke and nage, and Justin Martyr’s words, “Death is a debt that must be paid.”
This story is a bit continutiy-heavy and may jump the shark, but it's a comic book universe, so nothing is lost that can't be regained.

Summary
This is a retelling of "Future's End" that wasn't written by ten million chimpanzees randomly hitting typewriter keys, and it resolves one last plot hole in "Epilogue." I also took a stab at revamping Manitou Dawn so that she feels more like an actual human being. Includes backstory if you're just jumping in.
