Oh, I certainly didn't just like the story, I LOVE it! It's amazing! And I really like the changing scenery from past to present and back. Also, Tony is awesome, so I'm glad you found a way to include him and the Avengers, too. I also really love mythology and urban legends and all the creepy stuff and Calder was such a great depiction of a supernatural villain. I used to be a big fan of the show Supernatural, but I must admit I stopped watching after season.... 5 I think? The whole God and angels and heaven and hell stuff was a bit much for my taste. I liked it better when it was just two brothers on a scary road trip. But maybe I should start watching again. I did enjoy it a great deal back then. I would be over the moon if you felt inspired to tackle another prompt. But I'm also very much looking forward to the next chapter of Awake Within a Dream. On that note - I do plan to draw for that story, too. I already have a scene planned out. Now all that I need is time to draw....
That makes me happy. This did kind of take over my life and ended up putting Awake Within a Dream on the back burner. I totally get what you mean about needing time. My work schedule is insane and the only saving grace I've had lately is I've been working nights so it's been much slower so while I've been "working" I've been jotting things down here and there.
Supernatural kind of slowed down around season 6 but it picked back up towards the end of 7. I like Sam but Dean and Cass are my favorite characters.
I can't wait to see what you draw for Awake Within a Dream. Unfortunately I crushed my hand at work a couple weeks ago so now I'm in a brace and typing is a huge pain which means working on the next chapter is going to go even slower. They don't think I broke it but we'll see.
Oh my, that sucks! Get better soon. Don't stress about the next chapter. Your health is so much more important.
I have already picked a scene that I want to do and I have started to scribble some tiny figure sketches to work out the composition. Quite a bit of that at work, too. It's been slow going lately. We put everything on hold to offer vaccinations and now no one wants them which is crazy and incredibly frustrating. But it means a lot of empty time to fill.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now. I hope you get better soon and that the pain goes away quickly.
PS: I always loved Dean best. He's just the coolest.
Sooo. I was really into drawing this and it got done a lot quicker than I had expected. I hope you like it. This scene blew me away and while I had planned on drawing for the story before, once I read Ch. 6 I knew I had to do this scene.
