Sakusa is curled so far in with his back to Atsumu and it’s driving Atsumu insane. He wants to reach out, to touch Sakusa and show him that he wants him, so badly Atsumu wants whatever Sakusa will offer.
Every nerve ending in his body craves that touch again—begs for the press of Sakusa’s skin into his own. Yet Atsumu stays still until he’s drowned in sleep, not even comforted by dreams.
This is where Atsumu realizes that his life might be a little weirder than most others’. When he drifts off that night, he knows he will wake in the morning and hop on a train back to Hyogo. If he’s lucky, he’ll see Sakusa at Nationals and maybe, just maybe, get another shot at this whole thing. But life will keep rolling along as it usually does.

when someone is meant for you, sometimes greater forces at work will intervene. at least, that's what miya atsumu has to assume when he finds himself propelled into time loop after time loop revolving around one sakusa kiyoomi. each interaction becomes a puzzle for atsumu to solve, with kiyoomi being the ultimate solution. but fate isn't always as straightforward as she seems.

Wilbur rolls his eyes. “I’m just patching you up out of some misplaced sense of guilt or nostalgia or whatever; after this, you can try and arrest me again as much as you want-”
“Nostalgia?” Tommy interrupts. He squints at the figure, all confusing tangents and cynical jokes, the bird still perched on his head. “What, do I know you or something?”
Wilbur’s face darkens. He reaches out a hand, rubbing absently at a long slash going through his trench coat, a tear in the seams of it all. Tommy stills.
“No,” the villain finally mutters with a brittle laugh. “No, you don’t.”
…Or: Superhero AU in which Wilbur, upon waking up in an alternate universe, accidentally becomes a villain. Maybe not a very good one, though - he remains insanely, outrageously protective over the very heroes (and vigilante) hunting him down.

Kaoru ends up telling Kyoya about Alice, and the world on the other side of the mirror. Looking Glass, he corrects himself, and speaks of rooms quite like here, only the paintings in them talking, the clocks with faces. All wonders, he adds, laughing at himself, remembering Hikaru, ten years old, eyes huge and the future like Humpty Dumpty in their clasped hands –- as if, the moment they let go, it would break like an egg.
“In other words, you’re scared,” Kyoya says, and Kaoru wants to throw something at him. Another difference and he doesn’t want it –- wants him and Hikaru to be the same, neither of them hesitating before they make a leap, say a word, take a step.
Or, Kaoru, Kyoya, and the love story they never asked for.

The royal family of Antarctic empire isn’t exactly close.
Emperor Philza is always occupied; Tommy hasn’t seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is here, their relationship can be described to be strained at best.
The royal family doesn’t need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads – as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It’s the principle that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache.
At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo.
