Louis had told him. About this, Louis was honest, Louis didn’t hold back. He said, blood pooling at the corners of his eyes, sharp-fingered hands dug deep into the ruff of fur at his jaguar dæmon’s throat, “And as I drank from Lestat’s wrist…that’s when I heard Léa speak to me for the last time.”
Daniel watched her lean into him, her sleek black body pressing close to her person’s leg beneath the table. On his own shoulder, Arsha’s talons dug into the fabric of his shirt until he could feel the prick.
“What did she say?”
“I want to be honest, Daniel,” Louis replied. His voice was steady, sincere. “I don’t wish to obfuscate or embroider…but some things must remain mine, I think.” He stroked his dæmon’s head and she looked up at him, silently, with shining green eyes. “At least this one thing.”
“I understand,” Daniel said.
And at the time, he thought he did.

Four days after Newt had been expelled from Hogwarts, Mother and Father sit him down on the old living room couch and tell him the truth.
Two days after the welcoming feast on his first year at Hogwarts, Theseus pulls him aside in a empty corridor to tell him the truth.
On Mother's birthday when Newt is nine, uncle Will gets terribly drunk and breaks of in middle of tale about hippogriffs to tell him the truth.
Truth is, Newt never really forgot.
He still remembers sitting on the open road somewhere in Wales, weight of something big and heavy to four year old hands in his pocket and the wide open night sky above him. There were so many stars and he thought he knew their names.

Summary
Just a few little oneshots surrounding crossover ideas between Stranger Things and Umbrella Academy. Mostly (so far) about El, Five, and/or Klaus in different situations/encounters with people from either world. If I find enough inspiration (and if enough people like the idea), I'll probably make a longer version of some of them.
Chapter 1: Rather than the Demogorgon, Eleven encounters Five in the Bath, and together they become a little less alone.
Chapter 2: Eleven can astral project to an extent that transcends her own dimension. Klaus just believes 'Ellie' is a ghost. They become best friends.
Chapter 3: Five finds himself in the Upside Down. He and Will, another unfortunate soul, learn to survive together.
Chapter 4: The Hargreeves stop the apocalypse the first time around, and the Byers-Hoppers decide two rounds with the Upside Down were two too many. Five meets El and Will at school. They've all got problems of their own, but they help each other through them.
Chapter 5: Max is new in town, and Diego just wants to escape from time to time. They end up meeting and (begrudgingly) becoming something like friends.Series

Cannibal doesn't cut it, not really.
Soul eater, he thinks, as he watches Hannibal Lecter prepare his next meal. There is ritual to his killings, there is beauty in the way he is inhuman. With every bite, he tries to regain what he lost so many years ago, trying to ingest their souls like he ingested his sister the night he should have died. It doesn't work, of course it doesn't. His reaper touches them before they meet their end (a mercy) and so he never stops trying, never stops killing, until it is his time to finally, finally be touched.
