Lance sat in the back sit, along with Shay, Romelle, Adam, who was driving the car, and Pidge who decided to be the annoying gremlin she is. You may ask why they are both stressed and excited? Well, Shiro, Keith, Allura and Hunk are coming back from air forces. It was their dream to do it since they were kids, and they made it.
Keith is Lance's fiance: had proposed to him when they were walking down the Varadero beach when they were visiting Lance's parents. Keith had joined the Air forces around over the year ago, around the time when Lance started his 3rd year in the art college and recovered from top surgery. Shiro left for the Air Forces after his and Adam's honeymoon. Hunk joined the Air Forces when Shay had got her job as a geologist, while Allura left when Romelle finally made her dream to be a fashion designer.
The drive wasn't uncomfortable, but silent, the excited one. They drove like that for good few hours before they were finally at the destination. Thankfully, Adam's car is big enough for 8 people, and they can just throw Pidge into the trunk. There was already a lot of people, who were looking for their loved one to tap them out. The group splitted into looking while Pidge was left in the car to sleep, because she kept her whole night writing fanfictions. Lance was looking around, not able to see the face of his fiancé, his brave Keith. Lance became more self-conscious, his mind filling with thoughts telling him that maybe something went wrong, that Keith wasn't there, etc. It was like that until he saw the familiar face: Keith. He quickly approached him, not knowing what to do, but decided to hug and kiss him. When he did it, Keith immediately hugged him back, chuckling joyfully, and Lance thought he will fucking cry from happiness. They hugged like this for over a minute, not saying anything, just being in each other's arms, contented in the touch they missed so much. After a minute Keith finally pulled back, grinning so widely that his cheecks must hurt.
"I fucking missed you.." that was the first thing he said after being in Air Forces for over a year.
"I hope so.." Lance chuckled but it came out come as a sob.
"There, there..." Keith patted his back, hugging him again, letting Lance to cry out on his shoulder.
"I was worried sick..."
"I know."
"I thought you could die..."
"I know you're a paranoid."
"Hey!" Lance exclaimed, punching (weakly) Keith on the shoulder, who just chuckled.
After a few more minutes, they finally decided to go to the car. Apparently, they were the last ones because as they approuched, they noticed Adam pulling Shiro somewhere to lecture him about 'not scaring him to the death', Shay and Hunk talked with Pidge who finally woke up, and Romelle was just hugging Allura, and definitely not pulling away in the closest future.
Damn, such a emotional day.

Lance and Keith had spent the first day... productively, if you let me call it like that. And the rest of two weeks Keith about the weapons, the types of self defense knifes if there would be situation where he would have to face enemy directly, and things like that. When Keith went to life for Air Forces again, Lance had cry a lot more than when Keith the first time. After a week, Keith got a message from Lance: a photo of positive pregnancy test and a text to it; 'I blame you for it'.
Keith just smiled warmly.
