Summary
When the prince had come to him, asking for assistance, he had initially been surprised. Most people in the House think Hypnos a waste of godhood, and though the prince had always been more kind to him than most, they were not particularly close. Once Zagreus explained though, Hypnos understood why he had come to him: he had had no other choice... Putting gods to sleep, for good or ill, had yet to truly turn out well for Hypnos, but the utter desperation in the prince’s eyes had been impossible to ignore, and he had caved almost immediately. He hopes he found whatever he had been looking for, so that whatever consequences that inevitably come Hypnos’ way will be worth it.
Sleep Incarnate was more than just the cheerful greeter to the House of Hades, a fact that the prince of the underworld was about to find out for himself, revealed by an act as a simple as a small, rather treasonous, favor.
