Summary

i love this characterization. its criminal how often i read fics where it seems like will doesnt need mike as much as mike needs will. they need EACH OTHER, they would do anything for each other, they are each others weakness but more importantly their strengths

This was actually really good, like 9.8/10. There were some moments that were really special, a they hit all the main points of Vecna using mikes memories and self hatred against him (all that jazz). Them FINALLY confessing was wonderful and sweet, also the idea of them kinda of shutting eachother down and friendzoning themselves was pretty accurate and a nice touch. I liked that they brought up the quarry. And how Dustin and Steve and eventually Lucas were all on mikes side being like “lock in bro u got this”, yk
Anyway it was really sweet and comforting and an engaging story.
I’d like to mention this is the story I read on the morning I woke up at 6:30 and passed out like twice while I was reading.
