Summary
We met Carmen Sandiego in Poiters France. After giving a certain French detective a run for his money, she lets an old friend now enemy find her so that they can talk. That friend is Gray, or , as he prefers nowadays, Crackle. For old times sake, Carmen and Gray had called a temporary truce. In spite of being on opposite sides, its too easy to slip into the familiar embrace of their friendship. We all know how that fight ended: it had not been in Gray's favor.
But what if they hadn't fought after their peace concluded? What if while Gray disagreed with Carmen, for old times sake, he let her go?
How would these two former friends navigate their relationship if amnesia had never been a factor at all? Instead, its their old wounds and how much they secretly want each other that gets in the way in spite of having opposite goals. They're always spinning in orbits around each other. Always in refracted radials. But could there be hope for their relationship to survive it?
