Work Text:
As Kodaka got ready to head out for the day, he grabbed the shopping bag full of stuff for Yukimura, it wasn't much, but he wanted to get him some things that would make him happy, after all he'd done for the club, it was the least he could do. It was cloudy outside, and windy too, but nothing extreme, though the weather channel said there might be a storm later today, but it probably wouldn't be much to worry about. As Kodaka got on the bus, it began to rain lightly outside. It picked up quickly though, and by the time he arrived at the club room it had turned into a torrential downpour. Unsurprisingly, given the weather, nobody was there, well nobody but Yukimura, who like always was waiting patiently in the room. His presence wasn't unusual, 3 months earlier, the week after winter break in fact, the region was hit with one and a half metres of snow over two days, and school was cancelled for the time being while the city worked to clear the roads and get buses back up and running, and still Yuki was there, in his maid outfit. Hypothermic and on the verge of frostbite, Kodaka and Rika had to help him into the bathtub on the second floor of the chapel because he could barely move. Kodaka was only really there because Yukimura refused to leave his side, it was Rika who did most of the hard work preventing frostbite and treating the hypothermia. After his bath he picked out some winter clothes from the church's Lost-and-Found bin and wore those on the way home. Thankfully this time the temperature was well within levels which were safe for him to wear his usual maid outfit. As Kodaka entered the room, he saw that Yukimura's forehead was wet, his hair was dry, so it wasn't rain, he must've been sweating.
"Hey, big brother!" Yuki said smiling, his copper eyes turning a beautiful amber hue at the sight of Kodaka.
"It's good to see someone else made it" Kodaka said, "I don't think anyone else is going to show up today though."
"Yeah, it seems it'll be just us two!" Yukimura said, blushing.
Suddenly a loud bang seemed to come from every direction at once, it filled the room with noise as light poured in from outside the windows and left in an instant. Yukimura jumped at the sound, had he been any taller he likely would've hit his head on the ceiling. He let out a quick yelp that wouldn't sound out of place coming from a dog whose tail had just been stepped on by accident and then quickly ran and half-hugged half-tackled Kodaka out of fright.
"Woah! Hey are you alright?" Kodaka asked the small boy he now held in his arms, stroking his rose gold hair. "Is something wrong?"
Yukimura came to his senses and, realizing his face was at-level with Kodaka's chest, quickly pulled back in embarrassment and shook his head "No, no I'm alright. I just got startled is all. Thank you for asking though, big brother." There was a slight shakiness to his voice, and his body was trembling ever so slightly.
"I think lightning must've struck the top of the church." Kodaka said, providing an explanation for the loud sound they heard and felt just moments ago. "Are you scared of thunder, Yukimura?"
He blushed and nodded "Yeah, a little bit. But I feel much safer with you here, Big Brother."
Kodaka chuckled and said "Well, I'm glad my presence is comforting for you."
More distant lightning briefly lit up the room, followed closely behind by the crackling of thunder, each time the explosive fury of the atmosphere filled the room, Yukimura flinched a little, but nothing close to the standing vertical leap he performed with the first one. At that moment Kodaka remembered he had that bag of things for Yuki.
"Yuki, I got you some things I thought you'd like, would you like to see them?" Kodaka asked.
"Oh! You didn't need to do that Big Brother, but I'm incredibly thankful. I'm sure whatever it is you got me it will be amazing and spectacular." Yukimura answered.
Kodaka handed Yukimura the bag, inside was an assortment of men's clothes, along with a chest binder and a packer.
"Wow, what is all this stuff?" the shorter boy asked whilst inadvertently holding the packer in a way that would cause most with the corresponding hardware to faint if theirs was held the same way
"These are some things to help your look and feel more like a man." Kodaka explained. "I know manhood comes from the soul and isn't dependent on physical appearance, but it's still nice for your outside to match how you feel on the inside."
"Goodness, Big Brother, you're so thoughtful. I'm so lucky to have someone as amazing and wonderful as you as my big brother." Yukimura said. "Should I put these on right now?"
"Sure thing." Kodaka replied "Do you want me to leave the room while you change?" He asked.
"I don't mind you seeing me naked." Yuki answered candidly.
Kodaka rolled his eyes and blushed, he was contemplating getting a bottle of water for Yuki because damn this boy was thirsty. "I'll just turn around, that way I'm still here if you need anything and you get some privacy."
Kodaka turned around and Yukimura began to change into the clothes Kodaka had brought him, judging by the sounds of "How does that... Oh that goes in there" and "That goes through this and then it... should be all good to go." Yuki had figured out how to get the packer to sit properly in the boxers Kodaka had bought him.
This continued for a few minutes before Kodaka heard soft panting accompanied by a sort of struggling noise, muffled through fabric he heard the voice of Yukimura saying "Big Brother I might need some help putting this binder on."
Kodaka turned back around and had to keep himself from laughing at the sight before him. Yukimura was stuck with the binder halfway up his torso with both his arms held vertically, he looked like a cat who'd gotten their head stuck in a paper bag, it was adorable really.
"Here, Yuki, let me help you." Kodaka said as he pulled down the sides of the binder, fiddling with it a bit to make sure Yukimura was wearing it correctly.
"Now you wanna be careful with this binder on, you shouldn't do any strenuous activities like athletics, and you shouldn't wear it more than 8 hours. Otherwise it could really mess up your ribs."
"Okay, I'll just take it easy for today then i guess." Yukimura said, trying not to melt at the sensation of Kodaka's firm hands on his sides helping to adjust the binder.
Once the binder was properly on Yukimura's chest, the rest of the outfit was a breeze, the outfit wasn't anything special, a loose fitting orange and pink button-up Hawaiian shirt complimented his hair, and complimenting the shirt was a pair of light grey lounge pants* and dark grey socks.
"Wow Big Brother, I love how it looks! You have such a good sense of style and fashion!" Yukimura said, looking himself over.
At that exact moment, there was a brief flash of lightning off in the distance, and the whole room went dark, a blackout.
Yukimura let out an adorable squeak at the sudden darkness. "Big Brother it's so dark, I can't see anything." he said.
"Don't worry, I've got you." Kodaka responded, putting his hands on Yukimura's arms so the smaller boy would know he was there. "Let's move over to the couch so we don't trip or anything, sitting around in the dark is more comfortable than standing in the dark."
Once the two got seated on the couch, Yukimura turned to Kodaka "Big Brother, can you please keep holding me? I get really nervous in the dark and it's nice to feel that you're here with me, plus your touch feels really nice." he said blushing, not that you could see in the darkness.
"Sure I can do that, Yuki." Kodaka replied, pulling the other boy closer to himself, Yukimura leaned into it and practically melted at Kodaka's touch.
They kept like this for a good long while, sitting together in silence until Kodaka finally spoke up. "Is it cool if i lay down? My back is killing me."
Yukimura let out a short hum of approval, and as Kodaka moved from a sitting up position to a laid down one, Yukimura moved with him, until he was totally cuddled up with the taller boy, his head resting on Kodaka's broad chest.
"I really like this." Yukimura said after a few minutes of laying in silence. "I feel so comfortable and safe in your arms, Big Brother." He nuzzled the side of his head against Kodaka's torso, humming in satisfaction.
Kodaka smiled "I'm glad, that's what big brothers are for, after all." He replied, petting Yukimura's hair, earning a soft, contented moan from the smaller boys lips.
The pair laid there for a while. slowly drifting off to sleep, the rain serving as ambiance to lull them both to rest, occasionally a crash of lightning would startle Yuki awake, but Kodaka's embrace would quickly bring him back down, until eventually they were both totally in sleep's embrace.
