Chapter Text
Part 10: End of the Infinite Mall
Slowly, Olga’s eyes opened, her body lying on the ground. Rubbing her head, she slowly started to get up, grabbing her staff to help herself up. “I made it?” She wondered, looking around at the darkness surrounding her.
Creating a small purple light from her staff, she illuminated the room. Cables and wires surrounded her, the hall leading to a single spot of light. She looked back to the darkness behind her, remembering what had happened before she woke up.
“If this is truly the end of this journey…then there might be hope for my kingdom.” She was so close to righting the wrongs that had happened back at her home. So many wrongs that could have been avoided if she didn’t sequester herself in her castle all the time.
She had allowed evil monsters to wreak havoc across her world, content with just ruling her kingdom in isolation. All out of arrogance. The Dark Elf queen tried not to think about the consequences of what happened after Volt and his mercenaries took over.
When she got halfway through the tunnel of wires, she also thought of Ananzi and the Other World she spoke of. Maybe she could not only save her kingdom, but the one of her newfound ally, as well? The thought of waking up to Ananzi every morning was rather…pleasant. That, and an alliance of their kingdoms would be quite nice.
Her chest tightened when she thought of the possibility that she would never see her again. That, if she screwed up the phrasing of her wish, they would never cross paths. Despite all the training Olga had gone through in order to keep her emotions at bay, she felt herself tremble at that thought. “No. It’s not going to come to that.” She swore to herself.
Before she could think more about the possible wish that awaited her, she finally entered into the light…and found herself in a room filled with screens.
This room was the size of a coliseum, with the light of the morning sun falling down from above. Looking around, Olga looked at the screens, many of them showing nothing but static. But a few were showing footage of the days before this one. “So…these are the eyes of my captor?” She wondered.
Narrowing her eyes, she created a ball of dark energy in her hand, flinging it at a screen and causing it to shatter. “Does this have your attention? Whoever dwells here, show yourself!”
A single beam of light illuminated one part of the room, revealing Dr. Flug as he sat on a reclining chair. His glasses reflected that light, making him seem sinister and soulless. “So, you think this is over? That just because you found me means that you’ve won?”
Giving a slight smile, Olga nodded. “Of course. All that’s left is to destroy the pathetic creature who thought he could contain me and everybody else that he had captured.” She raised her staff, purple lightning crackling around it. “Grant me my wish and I’ll let you go.”
“You haven’t even won yet. The wish comes after your victory. A victory that’ll never happen.” Dr. Flug pushed a nearby button to create another beam of light.
It shined on 505, the sentient stuffed animal trembling as he looked upon Caboose’s battered body. The dark energy of Count Logan was coursing through him, as he had been caught up in the wave of rubble that had been created from the villain’s attack. “I’m okay! I’m like a piece of origami paper!” He wiggled his broken limbs. “Can somebody fold me back?”
ZAP! With a blast of Dr. Flug’s laser blaster he had holstered around his waist, Caboose was taken out, causing 505 to tremble even worse. “I’m sorry. I had to do that. Now, I only have to deal with you.”
Charging up her staff, Olga prepared to finish things quickly. When her staff fired a blast, it smashed against an invisible shield Dr. Flug had made around himself. “What magic is this?” She asked.
“Not magic. Technology.” He raised his watch, the device making a near-invisible energy around himself. “Technology is also what will ensure that everything FINALLY goes according to plan!” He turned to 505, sighing as he hovered his finger over another button. “Forgive me. This will only hurt for a little bit.”
When that button was pressed, 505 began to twitch uncontrollably, his eyes widening before they turned blood-red. Growing in size, his claws extended while a much sharper set of teeth emerged in his mouth. Like a whirling group of saw-blades, they spun, his body now becoming as large as a two-story building.
Olga took a step back as she looked upon this monstrosity, yet she still gave a determined look. “If you think this is going to keep me from saving my kingdom, you’re an even bigger fool than I thought.” She said.
The transformed 505 let out a mechanical roar, lifting a foot up as he prepared to crush his foe. However, instead of fighting the monstrous stuffed animal, Olga leaped back and created a circle of dark magic to keep herself in the air.
“What is she doing?” Dr. Flug wondered, only to see cracks of purple magic form around where 505 was standing. “OH, CRAP! 505! GET OUT OF THERE!”

As 505 looked down, confused at what was happening, a burst of dark energy engulfed him, seemingly vaporizing him until a figure floated out of the blast. Count Logan had returned.
Giving a hateful gaze to all around him, he grabbed 505’s head when it fell down, throwing it right where Dr. Flug was cowering. The head blinked in confusion, while the mad scientist clung to it. “This is not my day!” He whimpered.
Ignoring him, the villain pointed at Olga. “All that stands before me and finally erasing this useless multiverse…is you. A second-rate user of dark magic.”
Not flinching at this sight, the Dark Elf Queen clenched her fingers around her staff. “I’m not in the mood for banter, especially if it involves an egocentric novice magician like you.”
“Arrogant WITCH!” Count Logan shouted, his fists enveloping with more dark energy.
(0:30-1:04)
Rushing forward, he flung several dark energy balls at is foe, only for her to side-step them. Teleporting behind her, Count Logan swung his cane at her staff, their clash causing them both to be pushed back.
Summoning several dark magical orbs around herself, Olga sent them out, crashing them against all corners of the lab while a few were swatted by her foe. Count Logan then surged forth, roaring as he swung his cape and created a wave of dark energy. This was blocked by a shield made by Olga, though it did push her back against the wall.
Surrounding his cane with dark energy, Count Logan tried to stab his foe, only for a leg to emerge from the walls, smacking him in the mask and nearly breaking it in two. “WHAT THE?!”
Slowly, Carmilla pulled herself out of the wires, sporting burn marks around herself. “I’m not finished yet!” She shouted, eventually pressing her legs against the wall and propelling herself towards the villainous one like a torpedo.
(1:04-1:29)
Blocking that with his cane, Count Logan teleported above, raining down various energy blasts. Carmilla raced up the walls, while Olga just floated alongside her. The demon leaped from wall to wall, eventually making it so she could give a roundhouse kick against the villainous one.
Teleporting away, he was met with Olga creating several dark magical balls around him, each exploding into purple mist that blinded him. It allowed her to fire a large blast of magical energy at him, driving him into some of the wires. “You…will not make a FOOL OF ME!” He roared.
Propelling himself into both ladies, all three started to smash through the wires, tunneling all the way up before the surface started to distend and glow purple when they struck it.
(1:29-1:41)
Rising into the air, Olga and Count Logan continued their struggle, their weapons pressed against each-other before they pushed each-other back. “Everybody is going to pay for my pain!” He roared, creating a whip of dark energy that he swatted against his foe.
Letting it wrap around her staff, Olga tugged hard on it, allowing her to smash her heel into her enemy’s face. Carmilla followed up by kicking him in the stomach, sending him flying back. “Nobody likes a whiner.” She said.
“Indeed.” Olga nodded. The two women knew they would have to come to blows when this was over, but, for now, they were allies in this fight.
(1:41-1:56)
“GRAAAAAAAAAGH!” Count Logan roared, his Dark Prognosticus opening as it unleashed a beam of dark energy into the sky, causing massive orbs of the stuff to start raining down.
While Carmilla ran to avoid the blasts, even whacking one away with her legs, Olga sped forth, a set of dark magical wings forming on her back. She began to whisper a chant to herself, closing her eyes as she tried to avoid the blasts at the same time.
It was going to be the toughest spell she ever did, her magic starting to drain out of her while she did this. “Say goodbye!” Count Logan aimed his cane at his foe, ready to destroy her while she slowed down during her spell.
Suddenly, a hand emerged from the rubble, grabbing around his arm and breaking it with a tight grip.
(1:57-2:17)
Leaping out of the rubble, Master Asia revealed himself, delivering a vicious punch to the evil one’s face. Count Logan’s mask was broken in half, revealing his pained and furious expression. “Nobody defeats me! NOBODY!” The villain shouted.
“Just because you wield power over the darkness doesn’t mean you can keep my flames down! Now, show me a good fight! MAKE MY BLOOD BURN HOT!” Master Asia shouted, spinning in place as a large spiral engulfed him.
Still trying to concentrate on her spell, Olga only noticed Master Asia’s technique when she was nearly swept away by the large spiral. “By the gods!” She cried out.
“Oh, my.” Carmilla stepped back, especially as Master Asia’s head started to show in the center of that spiral.
(2:17-2:38)
Grinning as he rammed into Count Logan, the Undefeated of the East ripped apart the land as he found himself pushing against the full power of the Dark Prognosticus. Count Logan gritted his teeth as he created a blast from the book that almost engulfed his foe, but Master Asia just burned through it.
“Nothing you do can prevent your defeat! My victory is assured!” Master Asia shouted.
“N…no! Not while I’m so close!” Count Logan’s eyes started to change into a more reptilian shape, the energy from the Smash Ball from earlier filling him again once more. He had stored that energy in his book and, now, it was coming back to him in full force.
Olga continued to stand and remain calm, her hair blowing in the wind while her body began to glow a dark shade of purple. Carmilla rushed past her, ready to attack Count Logan once more, even as his body quickly started to shift into a wholly new form.
(2:38-3:10)
In a flash of purple light, Count Logan had shifted into the form of a large dragon resembling the villain known as Malefor. Pushing his claws against Master Asia’s spiral, he spread out his wings before unleashing a stream of flames.
The fires engulfed nearly the entire place, reducing almost everything to ash. Master Asia fought against these flames, letting out a defiant yell of might while the wings of his foe glowed.
Purple portals surrounded Count Logan’s draconic form, all bringing down blasts of energy that almost tunneled into the planet’s core. Carmilla leaped at the evil one during this, yelling in fury as she buried her leg into the creature’s face.
Letting loose another furious roar, Count Logan spread out his body, covering himself in dark energy while also unleashing his flames. This created a large explosion with him in the center, a maelstrom of both fire and dark energy engulfing all. It traveled across the rubble around him, also reducing the Infinite Mall to nearly nothing.
(3:11-3:31)
With a flap of his wings, Count Logan had dispelled the explosion. Everything around him was either smoke, rubble, or ash. “Finally.” He panted, stomping through the desolation. “I’ve finally WON.”
Before he could demand to have his wish, he saw that the color around him was draining, causing him to feel like he was being slowly trapped in a realm with no light. “Thank you for giving me enough dark energy for me to do this.” Olga’s voice called out.
“What is this sorcery?!” Count Logan roared. “Show yourself! I’m far more powerful than you! I HAVE THE POWER OF DARKNESS ON MY SIDE!”
Many pairs of bright-purple orbs began to surround the villainous one, all of them glaring at him. “Be careful not to misuse the power of darkness. You might just be SWALLOWED UP BY IT!”
(3:32-3:54)
The eyes revealed themselves to be part of a massive hydra. This serpent was made of moving shadows, meany heads formed from the sheer amount of dark magic that Olga had within herself. Now fully unleashed, all heads rushed down at Count Logan, some of them being destroyed by his flames.
The heads that made it to his body clamped down on him, slowly ripping him apart while they blasted bright purple beams at the same time. Rays of purple light exited him in various areas, causing his eyes to widen as he felt his very essence be ripped apart.
“This…can’t…be!” He gasped, holding out a claw before he reverted to his original form. The darkness was coming down on him, every head crushing him into the ground while it swirled right on top of him.
The Dark Prognosticus was summoned into one of his hands, but it too was swallowed up by one of those Dark Hydra heads, the mass of shadows continuing to swirl and tear apart the essence of the villain.
Eventually, all that darkness funneled itself into what remained of Count Logan’s mask, as single wisp of the villain’s essence wriggling around pathetically in the remaining eye hole.
(3:55-End)
Olga’s boot came down on that mask, crushing it into powder while the essence of the villain was extinguished. Standing tall over the defeated one, the Dark Elf Queen closed her eyes as the remaining shadows returned to her.
After a few moments, she collapsed onto her knees, panting heavily after using so much magic. It would take quite a while until she had regained what she had utilized. “At last…it’s over.” She said to herself.
“Sure is! You’re the 37th Arena winner! Congrats!”
Turning around as time began to slow down around her, the Dark Elf Queen saw that the Hellhound known as Baskerra Hellmane was in front of her. “You must be the demon who sent me here.”
“Guilty as charged.” Baskerra nodded. “Hope you had fun!”
“You’re lucky that this journey wasn’t complete without any parts I enjoyed.” Olga stated. “Now, the time has come. Hear my wish.”
“Alright. What is it?” The hellhound leaned on her two tails, eagerly awaiting that wish.
Thinking hard about what she was going to say, Olga thought of both her kingdom and Ananzi. “I wish…” She began, clearing her mind of any doubt. “…that Volt’s assault on my kingdom never happened and it was transported to the Other World.”
Tapping her chin, Baskerra thought about that. “Isn’t that two wishes?” She wondered before shrugging. “Eh. Alright. Volt’s a bastard, so denying him his greatest victory is gonna be great. That, and, by doing this, you’re saving your continent from being cursed by your fortress. Nice!”
“I suppose everybody, besides Volt, wins in this scenario.” Olga said, giving a small smile as she realized that this was all working out nicely. “Can you do this for me?”
Snapping her fingers, Baskerra created a large portal behind herself, showing Olga’s entire kingdom suddenly vanishing from where it once was, the sun’s light parting the cloudy skies at long last. “I should warn you. The Other World’s kind of going through a crisis. Some jerk named Janos kind of messed things up.”
Remembering what happened the last time she tried to ignore a crisis outside the walls of her kingdom, Olga raised her staff and brought it down. “I will help put a stop to his conquest. It will be my first act to show this ‘Other World’ that I mean it no harm.”
“That’s the spirit!” Baskerra grinned. “Now, show them what the Queen of the Dark Elves can do!” She shouted as she gestured to another portal, this one showing the Other World. “Right this way, you’re majesty!”
Walking through it, Olga gave one last glance to the canine one. “Be warned. If this is a trick, I will find out…and there is no place in the multiverse where you can hide.” Some shadowy serpents trailed up her body, snapping at the hellhound.
“Yikes! Trust me. You have my word that this isn’t a trick.” Baskerra gave a small bow.
Continuing to walk towards her fortress, Olga spread out her arms, breathing in the atmosphere of this new realm. “Let a new chapter in my kingdom’s history begin.” She said before turning back to the hellhound one last time. “Farwell.” With that, the portal closed.
When that was done, Baskerra turned to the audience. “And there you have it! The start to Season 4! Hope it was awesome, guys! See you all soon!”
Some time later…
Sitting in the ruins of the Infinite Mall, Dr. Flug could only stare blankly while patting 505’s head. The sentient stuffed animal, despite being reduced to a head, was trying to give his friend an encouraging look. “It’ll be okay…it’ll be okay…” The mad scientist kept repeating.
Deep down, he knew things were definitely NOT going to be okay, given this experiment had ended in the Black Hat Organization losing the Infinite Mall and having their reputation be sunk due to one of the contestants winning.
He shivered as a shadowy being began to rise from the ground, his expression neutral. This was the fiendish Black Hat, the boss of the unfortunate mad scientist. “Sir! I can explain!” Dr. Flug shouted.
“Enough. This experiment is done. We’re going home.” He replied.
Dr. Flug blinked, looking at 505 before looking back up at the sinister being. “You’re not mad?”
Giving a meaner glare, the villainous one used a tentacle to lift his minion up by the neck, gripping around it tightly. “Make no mistake. I’ll figure out some way to punish you for your failure. Still, this whole experience has expanded our means of gaining more profit from villains everywhere.”
He grinned as he considered how many of his customers would pay quite a lot of money to watch those in the Arena struggle throughout it all. “Perhaps we should meet with this Baskerra more often. I have a couple of ideas.”
Creating a red portal in front of himself, he didn’t pay attention as Demencia crawled out of the rubble, dragging herself towards him. “Never…coming…to this mall…again!” She growled, making it to the portal before it closed.
