Steven frowned. He had an imaginary friend growing up who followed him well into his teen years. Did he ever really leave? He must’ve. It wasn’t like he spoke to him anymore… right? The Hispanic thoughts in his mind sounded quite similar to those of his imaginary friend, didn't they?
“Jake?” He called out mentally.
For a moment, there was no response and he called the name again before he got a response he could barely hear: “Hola, Steven.”
Steven chuckled. “I must really be lonely to be making you up again… Or maybe my lack of sleep finally got to me,” he said out loud.
The thought chuckled back at him. “Well, I’m replying to you, aren’t I?”
“Yeah, you’re right. It’s likely the lack of sleep.”
“That’s not what I meant, but whatever makes you sleep at night, Steven…”
Or Jake has always been present even if neither Marc nor Steven are aware of it, and as Steven gets hired at the British Museum, he find that his imaginary friend has come back and is more sentient than he remembered.

New moon as an astronomy noun, refers to the time when the moon is in conjunction with the sun, the side to the earth is not shone by the sun, therefore new moon is the phase when the moon is dark and not visible from the earth.
I haven’t read the comics yet, only the TV show, so there would be some inevitable out of characters, hope you wouldn’t mind. I know I should have written this in Spanish, but my Spanish isn’t as good, so let’s just take it in English.
And—Jake likes to call Steven “Stevie”. :D

Staring into a mirror propped against his cluttered flat, Steven saw his own reflection. Only more stoic. More hardened to aspects of reality Steven hadn't even come around to think about. Steven has been leading a life through a body that wasn't truly his. It was all far too much, and Steven is on track to spiralling rapidly.

Chp 5: Things are still new and a bit rocky a few months after Cairo. A misunderstanding lead to an argument between Layla and Marc, causing him to get triggered badly. Jake shares a light of insight, and a new form of understanding settles between the system and Layla.
Chp 6: A mission to NYC leads to the moon system meeting the Avengers?! Things take a turn as misunderstandings occur
Chp 7: part 2 of chapter 6
Chp 8: Same universe as the last 2 chapters. The Avengers and Moon System are starting to become closer. A mission in triggering circumstances causes Moon System to grow closer with Peter and Bruce, finally realizing they actually have friends.

We should get to the car now.” Aizawa studied him for a bit, his eyebrows furrowed, before running the unused bit of his capture scarf through Shoto’s bloody hair, wiping down the strands on his forehead. His face wasn't sticky anymore. The taste of metal and fire subsided. Shoto looked down the alleyway.
“I’m sorry,” he rasped, his voice still raw from screaming.
Aizawa paused. “You have nothing to be sorry for, Shoto.”
“I’m ruining your capture scarf.”
Aizawa sighed, but it was lighter than usual. He cupped Shoto’s cheek and moved Shoto so that he was facing him. “You,” he punctuated, “are not ruining anything. You understand?”
Or
Shoto tries very hard to keep Endeavours 'training' a secret from Aizawa, Bakugou and Midoriya. They find out anyways. Comfort ensues. Angst ensues. Friendship ensues.
And Aizawa is determined to save his student.
